Heavenly Father, in this season of Lent, I ask for Your strength. When I feel weak and tempted, remind me of Your presence. Help me choose what is right over what is easy. Fill my heart with discipline and self-control. Amen.

An incident at church last week surprised me. A richly dressed woman in a Jeep purchased bulletins for #50 from a boy vendor using a #200 unit note. Given the amount, I expected her to offer the boy the change, but she requested her balance, and after receiving some change, she told the boy she would return for the remaining balance after the church service.
Who am I to judge?
