THE COFFEE SHOP MIX-UP
One day, a man named Bob walked into his favorite coffee shop, excited for his usual order: a large black coffee. He approached the counter and said, “Hi! I’ll have a large black coffee, please.”
The barista, distracted by a conversation with her coworker, mistakenly handed him a cup filled with a bright pink drink. Bob, not paying attention, took a big gulp and immediately grimaced. “What is this?!” he exclaimed.
The barista looked confused and said, “Oh no! That’s our new strawberry smoothie! I thought you wanted a coffee!”
Bob, still grimacing, replied, “Well, it sure woke me up! I think I just discovered a new way to get my caffeine fix—by shocking my taste buds!”
They both laughed, and from that day on, Bob ordered his coffee but always asked for a “shock” on the side, just for the fun of it!
The End!

"Love In Every Word" is a 2025 Nollywood romantic drama directed by Omoni Oboli, featuring Bamike "Bam Bam" Olawunmi and Uzor Arukwe. The film follows Chioma, a successful Lagos businesswoman, who, after ending a toxic relationship, meets Obiora, an Igbo man embodying traits she associates with her father—traits she's vowed to avoid in a partner. Despite her reservations, Chioma finds herself drawn to Obiora's persistent charm.
STRENGTHS OF THE MOVIE:
Performances:Bam Bam delivers a poised portrayal of Chioma, while Uzor Arukwe's depiction of Obiora adds depth to the narrative.
Chemistry:The lead actors share a compelling on-screen chemistry that enhances the romantic elements of the story.
Cultural Representation: The film offers a blend of modern Lagos life and traditional Igbo culture, providing a rich backdrop for the romance.
WEAKNESSES OF THE MOVIE:
Predictable Plot:Critics note the storyline follows a familiar trajectory, lacking suspense and depth in character development.
Stereotypes:The narrative reinforces certain stereotypes, such as equating lavish gift-giving with genuine affection, and portrays Igbo men in a somewhat one-dimensional manner.
Character Development:Some characters, including Obiora, are not fully fleshed out, leaving audiences wanting more insight into their backgrounds and motivations.
Overall: "Love in Every Word" is a feel-good romantic film that resonates with audiences seeking a light-hearted love story. While it doesn't break new ground in storytelling, its strong performances and cultural elements make it an enjoyable watch.
