HAIR TEXTURE
Hair texture is how thick your individual hair(strand) is. It's simply the diameter of the individual strand of your hair.
You can determine your hair texture by using a thread.
If your hair is thinner than a piece of thread, it's fine textured.
If it's equal, then it's medium & if it has a bigger diameter than the thread, it is coarse.
Another method is using your fingers.
If you take a single hair between your fingers and you don't feel anything you've got fine hair. If you can feel it, you've got medium hair. If you feel a strong thick strand, then it's coarse.
Let me add, the texture of your strands does not determine how full your hair is. The fullness of your hair is as a result of the number of strands on your head.
I have seen a lady with full fine textured hair. So thick(coarse) strands does not necessarily mean your hair will be full.
Anyone can have full hair no matter the texture.
What's your hair texture??? I've got fine to medium strands.

You don't have to buy all the products at once if your budget can't afford them.
Just start with the basic: cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen.
Not enough but it's a very good start especially when you buy the right products for your skin.

So that belief that if you can eat it, you can apply to the face, scalp or hair is not entirely true.
You can go with the theory if the pH of that food is not too low & close to the pH of the face or scalp because when acidic food (very low pH) is applied on the face it causes skin irritation and sensitivity.
Our skin pH ranges from 4.7 to 5.7.

I know everyone is trying to spend less these days which is good. Add sunscreen to the list.
If you have a sunscreen, you can use it wisely as well.
Hope you know after 5pm, there is no need to wear your sunscreen on your face & body?
There is no need adding sunscreen to your routine at night because you are simply wasting that sunscreen.

It's the weekend and if pampering your skin is one of the things you will do this weekend, just do it correctly.
Face scrub on freshly washed face & don't leave it for long. Once you are done applying it gently all over your face, rinse immediately.
Don't say you want it to work more. Our face can't take all that stress. The process of applying all over your face (don't forget your neck), in some cases chest is enough time for it to work.

With the way *skincare* has evolved, by now you should know, sugar or salt or any product that contains any of these two ingredients should not be used as a face scrub.
It cuts the skin (even if you don't notice), in some cases it causes more pimples (depending on the combination) & it irritates the face.
The summary, is our face hātes salt and sugar scrub and in the long run you won't like what it will do to your face.
So if you are thinking of pampering your face today/tonight, that sugar/salt scrub is not going to pamper anything.

There are certain ingredients called actives which cause skin purging (where your pimples or acne become worse for weeks while using the product).
Retinol comes with skin purging so your face can become a mess before it gets better and when you stop it become a mess again before it gets better. So you need to think twice & know how to use it correctly before including retinol to your face routine.

In case you don't know
Sunscreen is not only for the face. You apply on your body.
Skincare is not only about the face, your body is very important.
Yes the face will require more care because the face is more sensitive and breakouts easily.

The thing about sunscreen is, if you don't feel cool for the first 10 mins of staying in the sun, your sunscreen can't do the job.
So buying sunscreen that helps a little is not a quality sunscreen.

Don't forget your neck & chin when applying your face products except the product is to treat spots on your face.

SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ALOE VERA PLANT.
1. It doesn't treat acne or pimples.
Your pimples will stay full time on your face till it's time for it to shrink and later disappear that's if you don't trouble it.
So if you are thinking of using this to treat your face, don't bother it won't work.
2. From my experience, it's hydrating. If you face doesn't react to the natural gel, then continue to use. If the gel is to thick on your face, you won't like the result.
3. Can you buy store bought aloe vera gel? Yes. Read the ingredients because there might not be any sign of aloe vera gel in the product even when aloe vera gel is written boldly on the front label.
4. It works for sunburn. But you should know, as you treat that sunburn get a good sunscreen so it doesn't happen again.
