Colossians 3:17
Understand that when ever you ask yourself honestly how often daily do you consider God in what you do. Is he there only in times of crisis, or in the evening prayer before bed? Incorporating God into our daily lives can be a challenge, especially given the pace of the world around us. But continually try we must, in either our exchanges with others or in doing our best to better the world, in whatever small way we can, each and every day. Next time you donate money to a cause, think of God and pray for its recipients. Next time at mealtime, instead of just a prayer before, thank the Lord after the meal too. These need to be grand gestures, they may simply be little cumulative moments, but in the end, it adds up to a richer life, one wherein the Almighty is always present, incorporated into the very fabric of one's daily routine.

1 Peter 3:18
Understand that though Jesus has imparted wisdom to millions of His followers through his words, it is sometimes worth remembering that His ultimate lesson was that of His suffering and sacrifice upon the cross. Through Him, God brought forth His covenant with man, to purge our sins in His blood.

2 Corinthians 3:4 helps us to understand why this passage in Corinthians concerns 'the letter' of the law (as originally inscribed in Judaism), in contrast to God's divine moral order. Even today, acts that are technically lawful may be abhorrent or have sinful consequences. What's more, laws change with regimes or the march of history; what many found acceptable in one generation, may be considered unjust by another. Thus, whilst our law and the letters inscribed thereupon may serve its purpose in regulating society, as devotees of the word of God, they are not sufficient. Serving society as a lawful citizen may be noble, but it is in the last judgment inferior to devoting ones spirit to God's everlasting truth in Testament.

Romanc 10:10
Understand that there are no words that can fully describe God, His love, or what it means to believe. It is with actions and feelings that God's love can be conveyed. Saying that you believe in Jesus is one thing. Believing in Jesus is another one entirely. Believe in Christ and you shall be saved. Confess your love for Him, for Christ is the Lord.
