I'm sure you already know you should not use sponge and body/bar soaps on your face because they are harsh for the skin on your face.

The skin structure on your face is different from the skin on other parts of your body.
As such, they need to be cared for differently.
Find the right cleanser for your skin type and use it instead of face soap.

This will solve 70% of the problems you have with your facial skin.
Using your cleanser alone with bare hands is great, but our atmosphere is highly polluted, we may not be able to deeply massage the cleanser to remove dirts stuck in our pores.

Chances are, after using the cleanser, your face may not feel clean enough.

You know those soft baby wash clothes that come in packs of 6?
They work really great.
Cotton pads too.
You can also use those washable breast pads(Nursing mothers would know this). They are like soft towels and also helps to gently exfoliate your skin.
