When Patience Turn Pain

Sister Lami enter one salon, say she wan do Ghana Weaving with the tiny, fine lines. She show the stylist picture on her phone.

Lami: Please, make the lines dey small, small like this one for the picture o.

The stylist start the weaving, but after one hour, Lami see say the lines dem dey too thick and the weave pattern no correct at all.
But she just siddon, she no talk. She feel say if she talk, the stylist go vex.

After four whole hours, the stylist finish the style. It was very neat, but it was nothing like the picture Lami showed.

The Stylist: My sister, we don finish o. How far? You like your Ghana weaving?

Lami: (She force a wide smile, tired and just wan go home) Yes thank you! It's beautiful 😍
She pay and run commot before she change her mind.

Lami enter her room, lock the door, and look well well for the mirror.

❌ NO RUB, NO SCRUB, NO DRAG TOWEL:
When your hair still dey wet, abeg no use towel rub am rugged, no scrub am like plate, and no drag towel pass your hair anyhow!

WHY?
If you do am, e go scatter your hair cuticle, make your hair rough (frizz) like breeze blow am, and e go even break join. Nobody wan that kain wahala! 😩

WETIN YOU SUPPOSE DO (THE CORRECT WAY):

✅ BLOT, PAT OR GENTLY SQUEEZE:
Instead, just use your towel gently....dab the water (blot), pat am softly, or softly squeeze am to remove the excess water.

✅ USE SOFT MATERIAL:
The best thing na soft towel, clean T-shirt (yes, your old T-shirt dey work magic!), or special hair turban. This one go make your hair happy and healthy! ✨
