Did you know you should not leave your hair out for any reason during harmattan season?
It leads to hair dehydration and result in breakage.

And if you must leave your out, make sure it is extremely hydrated with water, butters and oils but be careful to not weigh down your hair too much.

About the henna(làálì)

1 tbsp of henna
1 large Aloe Vera leaf
2 spoons of original honey
1 egg(optional)
2-3 spoons of coconut oil
1 spoon of castor oil

Blend everything together and apply to the hair from roots to the end. Cover in a shower cap and leave for about 45mins-1hr then wash off with a mild shampoo(i use black soap). Then use a conditioner to rinse. Apply Shea butter as cream and style.

You can do this every two weeks or once a month.
