Skincare or Skin Risk?
If you're still using products without knowing what's in them...
you're playing skincare roulette. 🎲
💀 Some ingredients cause long-term damage—
and the signs don’t always show up right away.
🚨 Quick Tip:
Avoid creams with hidden hydroquinone, steroids, or mercury.
If the label isn’t clear, that’s your first red flag.
✨ Do your skin a favor—read the label before it reads you.

When I moved to Ikorodu (Agric area), I was surprised seeing many trees, herbs and some animals.
I have mango, guava, pawpaw, almond, avocado pear, Neem (dogonyaro) trees
I've seen snakes, tortoise, alligator, monkeys, squirrels and plenty snails.
It is funny that I've never tasted the mango fruit because the monkeys eat them before it ripen.
Don't ask😃, I can't eat snake but whenever they are caught (not by me!), I collect the fat as it is very medicinal and I don't need to buy adulterated one in the market.
The herbs are numerous; the ones I met here and those I planted with the help of my mom.
Miracle leaf (Abamoda), Ginseng, hospital too far (blood giving leaf), lemon grass, aloe vera, bitter leaf, scent leaf, different types of vegetable.
I stopped weeding anyhow when I was shown a shiny tiny leaf one can chew to beat insomnia.
We are richly blessed!

Organic skincare ingredients (and subsequently products) are now expensive but I will advise you don't settle for quantity over quality.
Where possible, we will explore alternatives and slay on budget!
We will learn how to 'compress' for instance a black soap that cleanses, hydrates and exfoliate at the same time.
However, you need to know your herbs (picking, sorting, drying, infusing, storing and uses according to your skin type and need).
Follow me, let's do this together.

Drying herbs need patience. How long do you think it takes to get aloe vera powder?

Cost of organic ingredients is not using stairs to climb but escalator! You can hardly vouch for many prices for 24 hours, yes, it is that bad!
In spite of that, I had to put my customers first👍
Truthfully, I patronage reduced drastically but the ones I retain give me joy because it is obvious they appreciate love that goes into whatever ingredients/products they are get.
Take for instance, cold pressed coconut oil. I do buy ready made to resell (I have a reliable stockist) but personally prepare for customers who drink or cook with the oil.
I buy the coconut. Local coconut is cheaper and bigger but doesn't yield as much cold pressed oil as the tiny and more expensive ones (we refer to them as badagry).
Cost of transportation to my location and the other processes, which is not less than 24hrs, also add up.
Ultimately, cost of me producing will be higher than buying ready made for consumption BUT it is good because QUALITY is assured!
I personally produce some other oils so chat me up.

Here are some of the reasons some of my herbal soaps are not sold straight from the shelf
* I formulate according to skin type (irrespective of the issue/condition).
* I take extra care with sourcing, drying, blending & preserving my herbs.
* I love herbal infusions which usually takes time to get the best of them.
* I vote for healthy practices for a healthy skin
