Banana Island Community Lagos

The banana island cultural festival represents a celebration of the diverse nature of the Banana Community. The event is designed to bring the residents of Banana Island together in celebration of our cultural diversity by showcasing the traditional food, drinks, attire, dance, music and exhibition of historical artifacts of the different nationalities represented in our community. It is a full day affair which will feature all forms of fun activities such as live music from Nigerian and foreign artists, comic relief, fashion show, drama, poetry, games, raffle draw, couples dance, children skill acquisition, food tasting, tattooing, henna painting, face painting, hair braiding, art and crafts and many more. Participating countries include Nigeria, USA, UK, Tunisia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Canada, Cameroon, Senegal, Nether Land, South Africa, Cote D’ivoire, Kenya, Morocco, Jamaica, Germany, France, Italy, Ghana, China, India, Turkey, Holland, Zimbabwe, Switzerland, Canada, Lebanon, Syria, Greece and Sierra Leone.
