If you followed this religiously, that means you exfoliate 10 times in the space of 4 weeks. Wow!! Im definitely proud of you.

As for me, I can boldly say my skin is on some fresh glowing level. Skincare products are able to pe*****te deeply and work effectively.

We have come to the end of this challenge but this shouldn’t be the end of you exfoliating and taking care of your skin.

Nothing you put on your skin will work unless you exfoliate! Know this and know peace!!

Every skin type needs to exfoliate. Either chemical exfoliation or physical, depending on the skin type.

Dry, Oily, Combination,Normal.

For oily skin, exfoliation two to three times a week is normally to help balance out the skin and keep it looking healthy and vibrant.

For dry skin, exfoliation shouldn’t be as often since your skin lacks natural oils. So once a week is good.

For normal skin two to three times is good.

On this DAY 9 of our challenge, let’s discuss why you should never exfoliate immediately you shave.

Since shaving gives us that extra smooth feel, proper skincare both before and after you shave is crucial for maintaining healthy skin.

Shaving can cause micro-cuts in the skin so exfoliating immediately after shaving can cause you skin a lot of damage. Exfoliating on a freshly shaved skin can irritate the skin, make it sore and cause excess redness.

Best practice is to exfoliate after cleansing, before shaving, this will soften your hair and help your razor glide along effortlessly, making it easier to shave.

You can later exfoliate couple of days after you shave to help remove dead skin and make it easier for the hair to come through making it less likely to get ingrown hairs.

Always remember to shave up, against the direction of your hair growth, gives you the closest shave for the smoothest skin

After shaving, use a rich moisturizer to keep all the moisture to avoid dryness, burning, redness, and irritation.
