From a granny square to a whole crochet hat. 🧶

I only wanted to learn how to make a granny square. I started with one piece, then somehow felt like I could do more with it.

It turned out more beautiful than I imagined, and I thought, why not make something with this?

I considered a headband, but I wanted something more elaborate. Then I thought of a cap/headwear.

So I made another circle of granny stitches, carefully paying attention to the colour mix.

When I reached what would’ve been beanie-length, I showed it to my baby bro. He said it would look even better as a hat.

I agreed. 🤔
And so, I kept going until this colourful, unique piece came to life.
A handmade hat that represents patience, attention, curiosity and love.

Available on pre-order, ₦15,000.

Four colours came together to make this piece. 🧶

Two shades of brown, golden yellow and vanilla yellow, worked into a soft, cozy mesh pattern.

Made in 4 days - I’m learning to spend less time on each piece while still enjoying the process.

₦20,000 - available on pre-order.
