Hello lovelies,
If you are familiar with essential oils you will notice that they come in glass bottles;and not just the regular transparent ones,they come in dark coloured(mostly amber and sometimes cobalt)bottles.
They are stored in such bottles because proper storage can drastically protect and prolong the shelf life of these oils.
Pure undiluted essential oils deteriorate when stored in transparent glass bottles making them lose their beneficial and therapeutic properties.
This is not to say that storing them in clear glass bottles is bad,it is just that these (clear) bottles aid their reaction to sunlight which in turn reduces their quality.
So remember;Store your essential oils in dark coloured bottles and in cool dark places.
