✨ MAKEUP ROUTINE FOR MATURE SKIN | 35+ ✨

At 35+, you don’t necessarily need “mature-skin makeup.” Your skin can still be oily, dry, or combination. The key is choosing products that suit your skin type and give a natural, comfortable finish. 🤍

💧 OILY SKIN
• Primer: Mattifying/pore-blurring
• Foundation: Oil-free, matte or soft-matte
• Concealer: Lightweight & crease-resistant
• Powder: Mainly on the T-zone
• Blush: Powder or long-wear cream

🧴 DRY SKIN
• Primer: Hydrating
• Foundation: Dewy/natural & moisturizing
• Concealer: Hydrating, not overly matte
• Blush: Cream or liquid
• Powder: Minimal, only where needed

✨ COMBINATION SKIN
• Primer: Mattify oily areas + hydrate dry areas
• Foundation: Natural or satin finish
• Powder: Mainly on the T-zone
• Blush: Cream or liquid for a fresh finish

Don’t focus on labels like “anti-aging” or “mature skin.” Focus on hydration, lightweight formulas and a natural finish that work with your skin type.

Mature skin isn’t about looking older — it’s about understanding your skin and enhancing your beauty. ✨💄

A complete base for mature skin — three things most people get wrong, all built around using less product.

Foundation: damp sponge, thin layers, start at the jawline.

Concealer: mix in a little orange corrector first — color corrects and conceals in one step, no extra layers needed.

Powder: T-zone and shine spots only, skip under the eyes, and mist your brush with setting spray so it melts in instead of sitting on top.

Mature skin blush map placement ☄️

Blush rules for mature skin:
• Start below your eye’s midpoint, stop at outer corner — this follows where blush naturally belongs on the face
• Don’t cross the ear-to-nose line — this keeps the placement lifted, not dragging downward
• Use your finger, not a brush — finger application naturally uses less product
• Cream over powder — cream blends into skin instead of sitting on top of texture

Contour isn’t just about placement — it’s also about shade. Always check your contour product is truly no more than 2 shades darker than your foundation before using it.

Two zones do the real work: cheek hollow and jawline.

Want more? Forehead hairline contour gives a smaller forehead illusion, and two thin lines on the nose bridge can add definition — both totally optional, and the nose especially needs a light hand since it’s easy to overdo. Save this before your next full face.
