Why is it that when someone is quiet and nice, some people take it as weakness? Before you know it, they start seeing you as a foolish person.

While I was in camp, I met someone I thought was nice and friendly. Little did I know that he had a different intention.

While we were in camp, he told me he lost his phone and was devastated. I genuinely felt sorry for him and was even encouraging him.

After about two days, he chatted me up on WhatsApp and said he had found the phone. I asked him where he found it, and he said he found it at OBS. According to him, maybe someone stole it and, because the person was scared of being caught, they returned it.

After camp, I came back home for my leave and we continued chatting. Then one day, he told me he wasn't in a good mood. I asked him what was wrong.

This guy started telling me how he lost both his parents, how he had to sponsor himself through school and how he had been struggling financially.

Before all these, he had sent me a picture of myself holding a wig, like he knew about my business. I asked him where he got the picture from, and he said he researched about me. WOW

So looking back now, maybe that research made him feel like I'm a rich kid or something. 😂

He said he had already been thinking of leaving Kaduna immediately after his service year to either Benin or Abuja.

According to him, even the phone he bought through Easybuy, he had been paying for it with his NYSC allowee

He said the little money he had saved for travelling, he decided to use it to start a small business instead. He bought a POS machine and used the remaining money to start.

But because the money wasn't enough, he had to borrow another ₦100k from Okash.

Then came another shocking part.

He said that while they were returning from camp(he was doing the pos business in camp), he still had some cash with him, but somehow, someone removed the money from his pocket inside the vehicle without him even feeling it.

He said he didn't realise the money was missing until he had dropped from the vehicle and was home. When he checked, about ₦120k was gone. 😭

I was like… HOW? 😭😭

How can someone remove over ₦100k from your pocket and you won't even feel it?

This is not ₦10k we are talking about o! 😂😭

But now that I think about everything, some things are beginning to make sense. 😂

And this morning, he chatted me again with another pathetic story. 😭

But make I stop here before this gist becomes too long.
