JOB SUMMARY

The Admin and Account Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative running of the phone store outlet and maintaining accurate financial and sales records.

The role combines general administration with basic bookkeeping, cash handling, sales records, and stock accountability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🔹 Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the store.
🔹 Attend to walk-in customers, phone calls, and enquiries professionally.
🔹 Maintain proper physical and digital filing and record-keeping systems.
🔹 Monitor and record staff attendance and support basic scheduling.
🔹 Coordinate with management on daily operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

✅ OND, HND, or BSc in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
✅ Minimum of 1–2 years relevant work experience.
✅ Experience in a retail, phone, or gadget store will be an added advantage.
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
✅ Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks is an advantage.
✅ Strong numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills.
✅ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
✅ High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and attention to detail.
✅ Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Raw Material Inspection & Testing:
Oversee the testing of incoming chemical raw materials, including Polyol, TDI, catalysts, blowing agents and additives.

2. In-Process Quality Control (IPQC):
Monitor and control critical parameters during continuous and batch foaming operations.

3. Finished Goods Evaluation:
Lead the physical testing of cured foam blocks and finished products to ensure quality and density consistency.

4. Laboratory & Equipment Calibration:
Manage laboratory operations and ensure testing equipment, scales and compression machines are properly calibrated.

5. Defect Investigation & Root Cause Analysis:
Investigate manufacturing non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.

6. Waste Reduction Support:
Collaborate with the production team to reduce cutting waste and chemical reaction variance while maintaining quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or a closely related discipline.

• Professional membership or certification with bodies such as the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN), Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria (IPAN), ASQ CQE or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor will be an added advantage.

• Minimum of 5–8 years of active Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment.
