The Story of the Wise Dunkule
Long ago, in a quiet village by the forest, lived a dunkule — small in size, gentle in voice, but great in wisdom. Though many animals mocked him for being slow and silent, the dunkule never replied with anger. Instead, he listened.
One dry season, the river began to disappear, and the animals argued over who should drink first. The lion roared, the elephant pushed, and the monkey screamed. The dunkule quietly walked upstream and discovered a fallen tree blocking the water. With patience, he guided the animals to remove it together. Soon, the river flowed again.
Ashamed, the animals realized that strength without wisdom leads to trouble, but wisdom with calm brings solutions. From that day, whenever problems arose, they said, “Call the dunkule.” 🐢✨
