While it’s absolutely OK to rinse your v***a and va**na with plain water or a product that helps groom healthy bacteria, any other product or fragrance that can kill healthy bacteria in your va**na and make infection more likely should be avoided.

2.DON’T USE THE WRONG BATHROOM TISSUE
Women should always make sure to dry their va**nas after using the bathroom, but using the right tissue is important. One-ply tissue is a no-no because this kind of tissue is rough and dry and can make the va**na sore. Women should use soft two-ply bathroom tissue but should avoid tissue that is scented.

3.DON’T DO**HE
The natural pH of the va**na is 3.8-4.5. Women should not do**he because doing so reduces the acidity of the va**na. The acidity level is crucial because this prevents bacteria from growing. Women should also avoid using hard soaps, and body washes on the inside the va**na and the v***a.

4.DON'T SWITCH FROM A**L TO VA**NAL S*X
Women should always use condoms when having safe s*x to avoid contracting s*xually transmitted diseases (STDs). Common STDs include HIV, herpes, gonorrhea, and chlamydia. Women should always change condoms when switching between va**na, a**l, and oral s*x.
