A woman loved properly can and WILL rise in her power every, single, time….simply because her power is given a safe space to thrive, not smothered in despair and drowned in sadness! This is what 16 years, 13 years married, 3 high risk pregnancies, weight gain, job losses, financial struggles, cancer, a hysterectomy, remaining a student of each other, prioritizing each other, fighting the problem not the person, taking accountability when necessary, being intentional in the love you have and being excited in showing up in that love looks like. In case you needed a reminder…hehe! Side note: our absolute favorite thing to do, from day 1, has been to shower together. Well, not day 1 lol but yall get it! We have cried, laughed, conceived, supported, prayed, proclaimed and all in the shower for the last 16 years. It’s something about being physically and emotionally naked at the same time. It’s such a beautiful experience and has been the strength in the glue that holds us together. We encourage you to find your “naked” place within your marriage. A place where you both feel you unveil yourself and be completely naked and vulnerable with each other. It’s makes the days when life if crazy seem like just another wacky day along side your best friend.
