Cassava contains a substance called CYANIDE, and the quantity of CYANIDE depends on the specie of cassava.

While the quality of the garri depends on how well it has been processed.

If Garri is poorly processed, it may be unsafe.When people drink Cyanide-rich Garri for a long time, the Optic nerve may be damaged.

Your optic nerve is the connection that lets your eyes send signals to your brain describing what they detect.

When this damage occurs, the consumer may suffer vision impairment.

The amount of cyanide in Garri depends on quality of processing.
