Easy and safe tips on how to enhance and maintain your skin tone.👇
(1) Drink enough water: Beauty starts from within,you should be drinking two litres of water daily to keep your body hydrated. Drinking plenty of water will not only keep your body hydrated,but will also improve the texture and appearance of your skin by flushing out toxins.
(2) Get enough rest/sleep: The truth is,no matter how effective or expensive your body soaps,body cream,face cream,body/face oil,scrubs,etc are,if you don't get enough rest/sleep,your skin will remain dull and rough because lack of sleep renders skin products powerless.
(3) Exfoliate your skin: You need to exfoliate your skin once in 3 days to get rid of dead skin buildups. You can use a home made exfoliating mixture by combining two tbs.of rice powder+a pinch of tumeric powder+ little drops of any carrier oil of your choice,e.g,coconut oil,almond oil,olive oil,etc.
(4) Steam your face: Boil cloves or lemon peels in water and then use the water to steam your face,this will open your facial pores and will also enhance your skin tone.
(5) Moisturize your skin with chemical free oils: I always advice people with skin patches/sun/cream burns to settle for oils that are mild and naturally formulated,with this,your skin will be naturally enhanced and the fact that your skin will be unified is something to be proud of.
(6) Chemical free body cream/lotion: please always go through cream labels before using it on your skin. The health of your skin is very important,and that is why we must be cautious of what goes into it. To safely enhance and maintain your skin tone,you need to use products that will not damage your skin in the long run. One of these days,I will list out dangerous ingredients that must not be present in your body cream/lotion.
(6) You must derive a skin routine that works perfectly for your skin. Once a particular routine works for your skin,stick to it.
