*HEALTHY LIFESTYLE FOR KIDS*
Making our kids have a healthy lifestyle is one of the best gift we can give them.
If you want your kids to live a healthy life you must :
1. Set a good example
2. Teach them Healthy habit
3. Keep up with your kids
4. Set them up for success as adults.
_kids might not always listen but they are alwsy watching_
The first thing you teach them is *THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEALTHY VS UNHEALTHY*( you can summarize it up for them in form of story children love story very well and they always listen)
Teaching your kids what's good for the body and what is bad is the first thing. Let them know that unhealthy food have effect both on the outside and inside of our body. And also what Healthy food does in our body
*MODERATION*
Learn to teach them self control and discipline, this is one thing we adults lack, which is why I find it important to teach our kids. Am not saying you should only feed your child vegetables and fruits, buy teach them moderation. They don't need a big bowl of ice cream or an entire bag of chips. Buy the smaller ones in put them in a small bag or container. Because when you give a child a whole bag of chips or bowl of ice cream they asume you telling them to finish it.
*KEEP THEM ACTIVE*
Promote healthy lifestyle for kids, teach them the importance of staying active.
*EARN WHAT THEY WANT*
don't allow screen play without earning it, get them active, get them tired, kids needs to get dirty, sweat and play, then down time with little screen play ( video games).
*HOUSE RULES*
▪ If you turn it on, turn it off
▪ If you open it, close it
▪ If you borrow it, return it
▪ If you unlock it, lock it
▪ If you break it, fix it
▪ If you use it, Take care of it
▪ If you move it, put it back
▪ If you make a mess, clean it up.
▪ If you can't fix it, call someone who can
▪ If you don't know how to operate it, leave it alone
▪ If it doesn't concern you, don't mess with it
▪ If it belongs to someone, get permission
*GLOW UP CHALLENGE*
▪Eat colorful fresh fruits
▪ Drink 8 - 10 glass of water daily
▪ Drink at least 2 cups of green tea everyday
▪ Eat fruits and green vegetables
▪ Do breathing yoga
▪ Eat healthy fats
▪ Tell yourself you are beautiful
▪ Follow hair care routine
▪ Don't skip meals
▪ Mediate daily
▪ Laugh daily
▪ Always get enough sleep
▪ Eat a balance diet
▪ Go outside in nature for 20 minutes
▪ Do 15- 20 crunches daily
▪ Do 20-30 squat daily
▪ Follow CTM rules : Cleaning, Toning and Moisturizing
*WAYS TO DRINK MORE WATER*
1. Use straw.
2. Buy a pretty water bottle.
3. Spice it up with fruit.
4. Set an alarm every hour.
5. Drink 1 cup before every meal.
6. Everytime you go to bathroom drink 1 cup.
7. Compete with a friend.
8. For every non water beverage drink 2 cups.
9. Drink 2 cups before bed.
