Topic: THE DANGEROUS MIND DEMONS

Proverbs 4:23 – “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

A man is a spirit, living in a body and having a soul. There are demons that torment the soul; that torments the mind.

There is a destructive spirit that has downgraded and demoted many destinies. The headquarters of this spirit is in the mind. It attacks concentration; thereby creating difficulty in paying attention. It is a very clever spirit.

The principle of clear profitable thinking and meditation is practically unknown to many because of this problem. It is true that meditation brings revelation. And revelation brings success. But when your attention span is being taken away by the enemy, then you have a serious problem indeed.

Inability to pay attention, inability to concentrate and inability to meditate are very serious spiritual problem that many who has it will not tell you. Herein lies some of the greatest problem of man: only few do profitable thinking.

Although thinking is a dangerous occupation but those who have this demonic spirit, to them thinking is a more dangerous occupation.

One of the greatest enemies of spiritual life is a wandering heart; somebody whose heart is vagabond. A prayer warrior is somebody who can concentrate on an issue and focus spiritual energy on that issue until it bows, break or die. Therefore, a wandering heart cannot be a prayer warrior.

SIGNS
1. Mind blankness
2. Unprofitable forgetfulness
3. Memory loss
4. Brain fatigue
5. Non-absorption or slow absorption of information.
6. Dreams are erased or when you cannot remember dreams when you wake up.
7. Inability to focus
8. Inability to concentrate
9. Roaring and noisy house as if the house is a zoo
10. Unfocused thinking
11. Vagabond spirits in prayer
12. Divided mind
13. Mind confusion
14. Attention deficiency
15. Thoughts scattering
16. Meditation deficiency
17. Mind blocking
18. Deadness of the mind
19. Dryness of the mind
20. Poverty of ideas

FACTORS THAT MAY CAUSE THESE
1. Generational curse
2. Inherited character or something native to you.
3. Lack of mental discipline through laziness or lack of training
4. Spiritual lukewarmness
5. Addiction to excitement
6. Demonic possession, oppression or obsession.
7. Fear, worry or anxiety
8. Guilty conscience
9. Rebellion of the heart
10. Uncontrolled useful thinking
11. Too much or too little exercise, rest or sleep.
12. Improper diet – too much sugar, too much starches.

ACTIONS YOU SHOULD TAKE
1. Acknowledge that there is a problem
2. Declare all curses broken in the name of Jesus.
3. Initiate daily scripture meditation and memorisation
4. Commit yourself to praise God in your life daily.
5. Regular fasting
6. Destroy by fire all evil possessions that you have.
7. Acknowledge all personal wrong and ask God to restore surrendered ground
8. Do restitutions if applicable
9. Set aside time for intensive Bible study
10. Practice thinking on what God would want you think upon.
11. Deliverance of the mind.

WAY OUT
1. Surrender your life to Jesus Christ.

1. (Place your hand on your chest) O God arise and break every idol in my heart, in the name of Jesus.
2. My mind, hear the word of the Lord, receive deliverance, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every cobweb spirit, around my mind, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.

5. Powers, that want me to have a vagabond mind, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every hand of oppression, pointed at me, wither, in the name of Jesus.

16. Any power, holding me down to the wrong level, die, in the name of Jesus.
17. Battles, assigned to block my ways, clear away, in the name of Jesus.
18. Powers, assigned to release bad people into my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
19. O God arise, and release the right people into my life, in the name of Jesus.
20. Any power, saying it is over for me, you are a liar, die, in the name of Jesus.
21. Activities of silent destroyers in my body, die, in the name of Jesus.
22. Every curse of “working as a slave”, be broken, in the name of Jesus.
23. O God arise, and let every enemy of my destiny be scattered, in the name of Jesus.
24. Every bewitchment of affliction, troubling my body, clear away, in the name of Jesus.
25. Powers that stopped the blessings of my father’s house, you cannot stop my blessings, die, in the name of Jesus.
26. Owners of evil load, carry your load, in the name of Jesus.
27. Every conspiracy of darkness, working against my destiny, clear away, in the name of Jesus.
28. Wherever the enemy has stopped my glory, I recover my glory, in the name of Jesus.
29. O God arise, and take me to my glorious place, in the name of Jesus.
30. Powers that hate my existence, before I finish this prayer, die, in the name of Jesus.
31. Any power, running into darkness, to destroy me, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

Topic: CONNECTING TO THE MYSTERY OF VIGILS

1 Samuel 15:11 – “It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.”

Leviticus 6:9 – “Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.”

===> May the power of the night not quench your fire, in the name of Jesus.

God speaks in vigils. Mark 1:35. – “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed”

Night prayers and meditations are patterns of ancient saints which this modern-day christians have neglected. Vigils are usually of potent spiritual activities.

Luke 9:30-31 Jesus Himself did vigils.

1. Destiny vigil
2. Revelation vigil
3. Power vigil
4. Intercessory vigil
5. Reading vigil
6. Meditation vigil
7. Study vigil
8. Prayer vigil
9. Fasting vigil

It was a vigil Jesus had on the mount of transfiguration
===> May you have a transfigurative vigil, in the name of Jesus.

Acts 16:25 – “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.”
===> May you have a vigil that will release earthquake of deliverance, in the name of Jesus.

Vigil prayers can cause holy confusion in the city. 2 Samuel 12:16

Vigil could be personal. You need not be in church or mountain to do vigil. It has to be in the house now because of the situation the world is.
Kings hold vigil: when you are ready for serious business, you hold vigil. All vigils need not be loud to be effective. Acts 20:7-9. There is a place for sermon vigil.

There are at least three (3) accounts in the Bible Jesus had vigils.
1. Matthew 14:22 – When Jesus went to solitary place to pray
2. Matthew 17 – Vigil on the mount of transfiguration
3. Matthew 26:36
4. Luke 6:12-13
5. John 18:2

There is a mystery/spiritual power on spiritual vigils
Genesis 32:22-24 – Jacob’s wrestling vigil
- Vigils can be life-transformating
- It changed Jacob’s name and status
===> May you have a life-transforming vigil, in the name of Jesus.
- There are destiny changing vigils
- There are name changing vigils
- There are transforming vigils

What could have happened if Jacob didn’t have the vigil? His destiny would have wasted.
===> May your destiny not be wasted, in the name of Jesus.

Exodus 12:12 – There is a Passover vigil
===> May you not sleep a dangerous sleep, in the name of Jesus

Exodus 14:19-20 - Vigil for dealing with Pharaoh.

There is something known as fast-sleep; fasting in sleep. Acts 12:5-7
Vigils are often times of great spiritual intervention. They release angels to come and help us.

Note that there is a vigil of Satan - “...while men slept, the enemy came and sow tares”. The power of Satan is known as the power of darkness. Psalm 91 we often read describes it as “terror by night and pestilence that walketh in darkness”

Hosea 4:5 – there is a conspiracy at night against the prophets.
===> May you not fall by night in Jesus’ name.

Jeremiah 6:5 – Night destruction is also popular by the enemy.

God also keeps vigil. Exodus 12:12

Both physical and spiritual battles are best fought at night.

What happens to intercessors who fail to arise in prayers? Does God congratulate them? No!

In conclusion, listen to this message over and over again. Participate in vigils. It doesn’t have to be all night. It could be one hour, two hours, etc

5. Any battle, that has grown old in my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every flying pestilence, I am not your candidate, scatter, in the name of Jesus.
7. Blood of Jesus, overshadow my body, soul and spirit, in the name of Jesus.

Ezekiel 33:30-32 - “Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD. And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.”

This is a lamentable tragedy for any true preacher of the Word this period.

Tragedies of the Modern Days Believers
1. Chronic lack of knowledge of the scriptures
2. Multiplication of cleverly conceived sins even among priests and pastors.
3. Complete lack of interest in evangelism
4. Weak altars of prayer.
5. Dead quiet time
6. Poor reading culture.
7. The inordinate love for position
8. Unholy attention to money
9. Entertainment lovers
10. Spiritual shallowness
11. Revelation poverty
12. Lack of aggressive attention to the things of heaven
13. Sermon proof Christians

When we say Sermon-proof, it means sermon cannot enter. When we say bullet-proof, we mean bullets cannot enter. When we say water-proof, we mean water cannot enter.

Who Are The Sermon-Proof Christians?
1. They stay long in the church but no change in their lifestyles.
2. Those who are completely deaf to the word of God.
3. Those nothing preached move them
4. Those who select what they want to hear and close their minds to others.
5. Those who preach to others what they don’t practice what they preach.
6. Those who invite others to hear the word of God but they themselves are hypocrites.
7. Those who refuse the word of God to transform their lives.
8. Those who show great interest in hearing but no pe*******on in their heart.
9. Those who have the presence of satanic birds picking their seed of the word of God.
10. Those who come to the house of God and convert their problems to Goliath.
11. Those who regard the church of God to social gathering.
12. Those who are always chatting away during the service.
13. Those who come to church with no notebook, pen; no writing of anything.
14. Those who are satanic agents by decision.
15. Those who are over familiar to God and His word.
16. Those who hear the word of God with a preconceived mindset.
17. Those who are racing towards destruction despite clear warning.
18. Those who go ahead to do evil despite warnings.
19. Those who regard the word of God as entertainment only.
20. Those who are in church but are not in church.
21. Those who run from church to church to avoid the truth.
22. Those who come to church but do not believe in the word.
23. Those who are partially or totally sermon-proved.
24. Those rendered dull by the forces that want destroy them.
25. Those whose hearts are hardened. Acts 28:25

Are you part of those who just come to the church to fill the gap?

Why Do People Become Sermon Proof?
1. People become sermon-proof because they are unwilling to depart from sin.
2. The lack of divine encounter. Everyone who must climb the wall of destiny needs divine encounter.
3. They have enrolled into the school of backsliding.
4. Over-familiarity
5. Unbelief
6. Bo***ge to tradition. Mark 7:7 & 13
7. Spiritual indiscipline.
8. Overconfidence
9. Worldly mindedness.
10. Ungodly friends
11. Direct satanic attacks: these ones need deliverance.
12. Hatred of correction.
13. Unteachableness.

It is a lamentable tragedy that a lot of Christians do not know the God they serve.

1 Samuel 15:22-23.
Once you are rebellion against God, God classifies you as a witch. Once you are stubborn against God, God classifies you as an idol worshipper.

===> I pray; every anchor of infirmity in your life will be broken away, in the name of Jesus.
===> I pray; you will enter into the will of God that will advertise His gospel, in the name of Jesus.
===> I pray; the Lord will break you out from the bo***ge of backsliding, in the name of Jesus.
