10 ways to care for the mental Health

1. Don't keep quiet.
-Talk about your feelings
-Speak to the right people about how you feel

2. Regular excercise
-Staying active and exercising regularly keeps the body healthy
-Helps boost self confidence and concentration

3.Eat healthy
Healthy diet is good for the body and mind.

4. Sensible alcohol intake
Drinking is not a good way to manage low mood , depression, loneliness or difficult feeling.
It only gives temporary relief then you feel worse after the effect wears off
Alcohol excess is like poison to the body , it can cause damages to the body organs.
Using alcohol to feel better may mean you need more each time and further damage to the body.
14 units is the recommended healthy intake in a week.

5.Dont isolate yourself
Staying away from friends and families during difficult times is not always the best.
Catching up with people that make you feel loved can be very helpful.

6. Take a break
Sometimes what we need is a break , a holiday and a little time to relax

7. Find a hobby or enjoy your hobby
Doing something we love can be very relaxing
When you enjoy it it helps stress and also makes you feel productive

Today is World Oral Health Day and I just thought to let you know that rinsing your mouth after brushing is bad for your teeth. It is more or less a waste of the toothpaste when you do that.

By so doing, you wash off the protective fluoride in the paste.

What to do? Spit out. Don't rinse. Just spit out. You won't die, okay?

This may be difficult at first but you'd get used to it eventually. I didn't find it any easier when I started too.

One more thing! When you brush your teeth, don't do "chuku chuku chaka chaka" for 10 minutes 😄 C'mon! You're not fighting with the teeth! 🤷 A minute or two (at most) is enough!

If you consistently brush too hard for too long, you wear off the enamel (the harder, outer part of the teeth) 😃

Oh, and don't forget to brush the tongue too. The tongue may be harboring more bacteria than the teeth, you know...

DO'S & DONT'S
Introduction
Proper va**nal hygiene can make a world of difference to our reproductive health. It can reduce the risk of acquiring infections, it can speed up recovery and prevent uncomfortable symptoms such as irritation and discharge. Take a look at some of the most important do’s and don’ts of va**nal hygiene.


DO'S & DONT'S

► DO: Wash your intimate area once a day.
This means you simply should be using lukewarm water or a gentle, natural intimate wash once a day.

DON’T: Use soap.
Soap is highly alkaline and very aggressive for gentle, sensitive skin of the intimate area. Always choose a natural intimate wash that doesn’t contain soap, fragrances or dyes.


► DO: Use intimate wipes if a shower is not around.

Intimate wipes offer convenience. Especially when on period, during warmer months or when traveling.

DON’T: Wear synthetic, tight underwear.
Synthetic fabrics don’t allow the skin to breath, which leads to increased temperature and humidity in the intimate region. Tight garments create friction, which can cause micro tears in the skin. Combine this with increased heat and moisture and you get a perfect recipe for a possible va**nal infection. Choose natural materials and avoid tight clothing for prolonged periods of time.


► DO: Wipe yourself from front to back.

It is very easy to transfer bacteria from a**s to the va**na when wiping from back to front, so make sure never to break this important rule. Use unscented and uncolored toilet paper in order to avoid irritation.

DON’T: Use fragrance or deodorant to make your intimate parts smell better.
Every va**na has a unique smell, and unless there is a problem, it shouldn’t smell bad. A strong odor can be a sign of infection.


► DO: Use a soothing product after removing p***c hair.

Whether you choose to shave, wax, use a depilatory cream or something else, always make sure to hydrate your skin prior to the procedure, and apply a natural soothing product to the area in order to prevent skin irritation. DON’T: Spend a whole day wearing the same panty liner.

*Kidney and It's Importance*

Kidneys are essential to having a healthy body because they are mainly responsible for filtering waste products, excess water, and other impurities out of the blood. These toxins are stored in the bladder and then removed during urination. The kidneys also regulate pH, salt, and potassium levels in the body. They produce hormones that regulate blood pressure and control the production of red blood cells. The kidneys even activate a form of vitamin D that helps the body absorb calcium.

*Kidney Disease*
Damage may be caused by diabetes, high blood pressure, and various other chronic (long-term) conditions. Kidney disease can lead to other health problems, including weak bones, nerve damage, and malnutrition.

Worsening of kidney function overtime called Chronic Kidney Disease results in complete loss of kidney functions. This means that dialysis will be required to perform the function of the kidneys. Dialysis is a treatment that filters and purifies the blood using a machine. It can’t cure kidney disease, but it can prolong your life.

Unfortunately, unless a patient gets annual checkup and is aware of their blood pressure measurement, there are very few visible signs that show kidney failure. Therefore it is important to always check your kidney status.

PREVENTION OF CANCER

What's known about Cancer prevention is still evolving. However it is well accepted that your chances of developing Cancer are affected by the lifestyle choices we make. Below are some preventive tips.

1__ protect yourself from Sun.Stay out of the sun between 10am and 4pm.

2__Aviod Risky behaviour. Behaviour that can cause infection that inturn increase the risk of cancer. For example having plenty s*xual partners putting you at
risk of contracting AIDS and HPV which can cause Cervical Cancer, cancer of the a**s, p***s ,V***a and va**na.
Please limit yourself to one partner and try to practice safe s*x using condom.

3__Get Vaccinated
With Hepatitis B vaccine and Human papiloma virus vaccine ,cervical cancer can be prevented.

4 Try to maintain a healthy weight and be physically active. This can prevent one from Breast cancer, lungs ,kidney and prostrate cancer.

5__Eat healthy Diet.
Eat more of fruits and vegetables. Avoid food containing Fat. The amount of alcohol a person takes increases the risk of getting Cancer
Avoid or drink alcohol in moderation.

Avoid Smoking and aviod staying close to smokers because it might increase your risk of having lung cancer.

And lastly ,Get regular medical screening. This will increase your chances discovering cancer ,early when treatment is most likely to be successful.
