The red eyeshadow trend has become popular over the last few months. Below are the step by step instructions on how to try the red eye shadow trend at home!
1.First thing you want to do when creating an eyeshadow look is prime your eyes with any eye primer or concealer. Then set your eyes with an eyeshadow similar to your natural skin color. This will ensure maximum color pay off.
2.Start your eyeshadow look with a light orange or brown shade throughout the crease. You do not need to be too precise in this step. This will help the red shadow transition and blend effortlessly.
3.Stay away from green or blue when working with red. This may make your eyeshadow look like a bruise or black eye.
4.Use only matte (no shimmer) red eyeshadows in your crease.
5.Feel free to use any matte or shimmer eyeshadow on the lid. I recommend a red, orange, gold, rose gold, champagne, or copper.
6.One of the most important tips when it comes to eyeshadow is to blend, blend, blend, using a fluffy brush until your eyeshadow looks seamless.
If you want more of a wearable look, work in some brown shades on the outer end of your lid and in your crease.
7.Give your brows some love. With such a bold look like red eyeshadow, make sure to give your brows some attention to help pull together the look and frame your face.
8.Don’t go crazy with blush. You already have red on your eyes so tone down your blush to a more neutral, soft tone.
9.Be creative. At the end of the day it is just makeup and you can wash it off. Be adventurous and don’t hold back. Break out of your comfort zone and you will be amazed at what makeup has to offer.

Makeup Tips For Glasses Wearers:
Focus on Lashes- Focus on your lashes. Some emphasis to your lash line will really make your eyes pop. I prefer a waterproof formula when it comes to my glasses. Glasses tend to trap heat and before you know it, you’ve got mascara streaks on your lenses. Prevent your mascara from going anywhere by using waterproof mascara. Be sure to curl your lashes before you apply your mascara, as well.

Liner- Again, be sure to focus on your lash line and watch your look transform once you get those glasses on. I always love a cat eye when it comes to my glasses, but you’re the one who knows your face best. Experiment with your liner. Smudge in a kohl liner and see what happens. What kind of frames do you have? Sometimes it’s best to gage what kind of liner would look best based on your frames.

Contour- It’s important that you keep your makeup neat and precise in order to look gorgeous in glasses. To help you with that, contour with your favorite concealer, bronzer and powder combo. Make sure you powder a little extra around your nose to keep your foundation from getting on your frames. I hate when that happens.

Pay Attention to Brows- Keep your brows on fleek by filling them in. You want your brows to pop in order to give your face a frame. I like using a brow pencil over powder. I feel that it gives me a longer lasting brow look. A strong brow makes for a strong glasses look.

Bold Frames- Instead of a bold eye shadow look, go for bold frames that still work with your face shape. Frames are like nail art these days, so you’re allowed to get creative with them. Find a pair your love, and be unafraid to wear them.
