 Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has shared her views on faith, claiming that she is not a “typical Nigerian Christian.”

Speaking in a recent interview with Jay On-Air, Isime explained that, unlike some Nigerian Christians, she does not look up to a pastor or a priest for direction, but uses her intuitions in following Jesus.

The movie star, however, noted that she has some “anchors” like Apostle Joshua Selman, whom she learns from.

Heat Exposure Reducing Effectiveness Of Medicines, NAFDAC Warns

 
Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Professor Mojisola Christiana Adeyeye, has warned that rising temperatures and poor storage conditions are compromising the potency of medicines and contributing to treatment failures across the country.

Adeyeye, who was represented by the Director of Laboratory Services, Pharmacist Nkem Ifudu, spoke at the 3rd Institute for Advanced Medical Research and Training (IAMRAT) Day Celebration themed “Preserving Potency: Navigating Heat Stress in Medicine Distribution and Usage.”

The Director-General described heat stress as a major but often underestimated threat to medicine quality, citing commonly used antibiotics such as amoxicillin and

amoxicillin-clavulanate as examples of medicines that are highly sensitive to temperature fluctuations.

Cancer Jab Can Eradicate Entire Tumours In Patients — Study

 Doctors have developed an injection that eradicated entire tumours in patients with treatment-resistant cancers during a clinical trial, offering new hope for thousands of people with limited treatment options.

The injection, known as amivantamab, shrank tumours in 42 per cent of patients with recurrent and metastatic head and neck cancer, according to an international study led by the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), London.

Researchers administered amivantamab to patients whose cancer had stopped responding to standard treatments, including immunotherapy and platinum-based

chemotherapy. Unlike many cancer drugs that require intravenous infusions, amivantamab is delivered through a small injection.

FACED with an increasing number of patrons who eat until they throw up, a you-can-eat-all restaurant in Spain has introduced a ‘vomit fee,’ the country’s media reported.

Sushi Toro, a restaurant in Gelves, Spain’s Sevilla region, has been getting a lot of attention because of its decision to charge people extra if they end up vomiting on the premises due to overeating. 

Apparently, the eatery had seen many incidences of vomiting related to overeating

in recent months and decided to do something about it.

“If a customer throws up as a result of having eaten too much, the restaurant reserves the right to charge them an extra fee to cover damages,” a sign posted by Sushi Toro reads.
