For over a decade, Adekunle Gold has created music that has soundtracked love, heartbreak, growth, and everything in between. Now, he’s taking his creativity beyond sound and into fashion.

The award-winning singer has officially launched Tuffman, his new jewelry brand, with its debut piece, the Wave earring.

What makes this launch special is the story behind it. The Wave wasn’t designed overnight—it started as a sketch Adekunle Gold couldn’t stop thinking about. He refined it over time until it became the bold, sculptural statement piece it is today.

Rather than launching an entire collection, AG Baby is introducing Tuffman with a single design, proving that sometimes less really is more. It’s a move that reflects his attention to detail, craftsmanship, and evolving creative vision.

From music to fashion, Adekunle Gold continues to show that creativity has no limits.

Would you wear the Wave earring? 👀💎

Lagos Fashion Week, winner of the 2025 Earthshot Prize, has launched “The Blueprint for a Regenerative Fashion Future” during London Climate Action Week in partnership with The Earthshot Prize. The manifesto, developed by the African Fashion Coalition, presents Africa’s vision for a more regenerative, inclusive, and climate-responsive fashion industry.

The document highlights Africa’s long-standing traditions of repair, reuse, local production, and community-led innovation, while addressing the imbalance where Africa exports about $15 billion in raw textiles annually but imports over $23 billion in finished fashion products. It argues that Africa’s challenge is not a lack of talent but a lack of ownership and value retention.

Built through consultations with fashion leaders, sustainability experts, artisans, and entrepreneurs across the continent, the manifesto outlines ten pillars focused on cultural heritage, circularity, local manufacturing, intellectual property protection, waste justice, innovation, infrastructure, market access, inclusive prosperity, and conscious consumption.

According to Lagos Fashion Week Founder Omoyemi Akerele, the manifesto is a call for investment, infrastructure, and fair value distribution that ensures African ideas, materials, labor, and culture benefit the continent. The Earthshot Prize’s Director for Africa, Simone Smit, described Africa as a leader in the global environmental movement, emphasizing the power of combining innovation with local knowledge.

She was never created to shrink.

The Coral Dress by Cartellar is a tribute to the woman who chooses courage over comfort, strength over silence, and purpose over fear.

Every red beaded pathway tells a story of resilience, passion, and power — a reflection of the battles fought, the victories earned, and the unwavering spirit that refuses to be contained. The gold accents symbolize wisdom and growth, while the deep black backdrop reminds us that even in life’s darkest moments, true brilliance shines brightest.

She does not retreat.
She does not bend.
She rises, endures, and conquers.

The Coral Dress is more than fashion. It is a celebration of the bold, unstoppable woman.
