DAY 16 (SATURDAY, MAY, 16TH, 2026)

Text:-
Numbers 14:18-20

Theme:-
MERCY FOR THE PRODIGAL

Memory Verse:-
"And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him."
Luke 15:20

MESSAGE:-
God's mercy isn't just for the "holy" moments. It is specifically engineered to reach you when things are falling apart, when you've made a mistake, or when you feel completely disqualified. We are very familiar with the story of the Prodigal Son; how he asked for and got his share of his father's inheritance and traveled to a distant Country where he squandered everything and was left with nothing. Times became hard and he had to swallow his pride and took a very wise decision to return to his father and apologize. (Luke 15:18)

The Prodigal Son had a speech prepared to apologize for his "mess," but his father didn't even let him finish it. He embraced him and ordered that the fattest cow be slaughtered and a party held in his honour. This is a proof that mercy doesn't wait for you to become perfect before it embraces you. Notice the father's posture: he was looking for the son. He ran toward the mess.

If you feel like you are "a long way off" from where you should be in May, know that Mercy is already running in your direction. You don't have to clean yourself up to be loved; the embrace of Mercy is what gives you the strength to change. Stop rehearsing your failures today. Instead, visualize the Father running toward you with open arms. Accept the "hug" of His mercy without trying to explain away your mistakes.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Father, I thank you that you see me even when I am far off. I receive your kiss of mercy and your robe of righteousness today, in Jesus name.

2. Lord, I realize my unworthiness and cry out for forgiveness. Show me mercy, in Jesus name.

3. Whatever be the judgment that I deserve, by your mercy let it be cancelled, in Jesus name.

4. Lord, look upon our G. O, Mommy in the Lord and their entire family with the eyes of mercy and grant them forgiveness from any guilt, in Jesus name.

DAY 15 (FRIDAY, MAY, 15TH, 2026)

Text:-
1 Timothy 1:20

Theme:-
THE MERCY SEAT

Memory Verse:-
"And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two Cherumbims which are upon the Ark of the Testimony of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the the Children of Israel." Exodus 25:22

MESSAGE:-
In the Old Testament Tabernacle, the "Mercy Seat" was the lid of the Ark of the Covenant. Inside the Ark were the tablets of the Law (which pointed out man's failure). But God didn't sit on the Law; He sat on the Mercy Seat that covered the Law. This particular scripture is significant in relation to how God values His mercy. Inside the Ark of God, there was a Mercy Seat also the tablets of the Law. But God only chose to speak from the Mercy Seat.

This provides a very powerful picture of God's intentions for your life: He does not want to relate with you on the basis of the Law. Rather, He prefers to meet you at the place of Mercy. He prefers to speak to you from the place where you will not be reminded how many times you have failed. That is to also show that you don't have to be perfect to hear from God. You just have to be at the Mercy Seat.

According to our today's memory verse, God is saying He will meet you at the Mercy Seat.
Whatever be the issue you bring before Him, He will commune with you from above the Mercy Seat. Mercy will speak in your favour, on your behalf and in your defense in Jesus name.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points.

1. Heavenly Father, thank you for the Mercy Seat, I come to meet you there today, ready to hear your voice and receive your direction, in Jesus name.

2. Lord, as I come to the mercy seat, hearken unto my prayers and supplications, in Jesus name.

3. All the problems and enemies threatening my joy, I report them at the Mercy Seat of God. Let God visit them with judgment, in Jesus name.

4. O God my Father, by your mercy, vindicate your servant our G. O, Mommy in the Lord and their entire household, against any grudges by aggrieved fellows, in Jesus name.

DAY 14 (THURSDAY, MAY, 14TH, 2026)

Text:-
Jeremiah 17:9

Theme:-
MERCY'S SAFETY NET

Memory Verse:-
"And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man."
2 Samuel 24:14

MESSAGE:-
King David understood that it is always better to put one's trust in the Lord than in man. God is faithful and consistent in all His ways, while man can be fickle, judgmental, and unforgiving. In our today's memory verse, David was caught between falling into the hand of God or those of men. He chose to fall into God's hands because he knew the "texture" of those hands was Mercy. On the contrary, our today's text reminds us about the condition of man's heart saying it is deceitful and desperately wicked. There is no way such heart can show or manifest mercy.

Humans often remember your sins and forget your service. But God remembers your service and covers your sins. God's thoughts for us are always good. His thoughts are always geared towards making us have our expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11) Therefore, if you feel like you are "falling" or failing this month, don't run to the opinions of people around you for validation. Fall toward God. His hands are the only safety net that never breaks.

If you are worried about what people are saying or thinking about you, do not succumb to their pressures. Instead, consciously "hand" those people over to God in prayer. Choose to value His "Mercy Hand" over their "Judgment Hand."

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Lord, I choose to fall into your hands today. I trust in your great mercy and find my security in your embrace alone, in Jesus name.

2. By your grace and mercy, I will never fall into the hands of man, in Jesus name.

3. Lord, give me the grace to reach my expected end, in Jesus name.

4. Let all the accusers of our G. O and Mommy in the Lord and every power working to bring them down, be dismantled, in Jesus name.

DAY 13 (WEDNESDAY, MAY, 13TH, 2026)

Text:-
Habakkuk 3:2

Theme:-
CRY OUT FOR MERCY

Memory Verse:-
"And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David."
Matthew 20:30

MESSAGE:-
Our today's memory verse explains the need for us to cry out for mercy any time we find ourselves in situations of hopelessness. The situation of the two beggars under discussion can be described as a hopeless one. Before then, they had sought for solution everywhere to no avail. Their families had given up on them. They only had to sit by the way side begging for alms while waiting for infinity perhaps help would come.

The world often tells us to be quiet, to be "composed," and to hide our desperation. When these blind men shouted, the crowd rebuked them. But they shouted all the more louder. They knew that one moment of Mercy was worth more than a lifetime of struggling in the dark. It was a chance they could not afford to miss and they grabbed it with both hands.

This is a proof that mercy responds to the cry of the heart. You don't need a fancy theological prayer to get God's attention; you just need a sincere cry. These men didn't ask for a "fair trial" or "what they deserved." They didn't begin to narrate to Jesus the story of their abandonment or who was behind their ordeal. They only asked for mercy. Mercy opened their eyes, and it will open your doors. I do not know that hopeless situation that has persisted in your life over time. But be honest with God today. In your private time, "shout" your need to Him. Don't polish your prayer; just ask for His mercy to intervene in your specific need.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. O thou Son of David, have mercy on me! I lift my voice to you today, trusting that you hear me and are moved by my cry, in Jesus name.

2. Every difficult situation in my life, be redeemed by God's mercy, in Jesus name.

3. Let mercy characterize every move of our G. O, Mommy in the Lord and The Lord's Chosen ministry, in Jesus name.

DAY 12 (TUESDAY, MAY, 12TH, 2026)

Text:-
Matthew 5:7

Theme:-
BLESSED ARE THE MERCIFUL

Memory Verse:-
"For he shall have judgment without mercy that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment."
James 2:13

MESSAGE:-
Mercy is among the many great attributes of God. It compliments God's goodness, graciousness, loving kindness, truth, longsuffering, etc. Mercy exemplifies God's selflessness and unending love upon humanity. Unfortunately, many people do not know that mercy is reciprocal. Mercy is usually extended to those who also show mercy to others. On the other hand, those who do not show mercy shall receive judgment without mercy. That is to say, the mercy you show others is the measure you will receive. It is a two way thing.

God is manifested in a person when such person shows mercy. We are created in the image and likeness of God. No matter the gravity of one's wrongdoing. God expects us to forgive such individuals. This is the only way we can demonstrate God's attributes in us. Therefore, if you are the type that takes delight in retaliation and taking your own pound of flesh against those that offend you, this is the time to begin to show mercy. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Unforgiveness is too costly. It makes the heart so heavy. It creates worry, tension, and anxiety and increases blood pressure and can lead to eternity in hell fire. In fact, the price of unforgiveness is too much to pay. So, why will you continue to harbour unforgiveness in your heart when you can forgive those that offended you? The best thing to do is to forgive them and free your mind so that God will also show you mercy. Those who show mercy to others are blessed people. In return, they shall obtain mercy.

So, why not show mercy to others so that God will show you mercy in return?

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. O God my Father, show me mercy and forgive all my iniquities, in Jesus name.

2. Lord, give me the heart to forgive those that offended me, in Jesus name.

3. Any spirit urging me not to forgive those that offended me, be silent, in Jesus name.

4. Father, let your mercy continually speak for our G. O, Mommy in the Lord and their entire family, in Jesus name.

DAY 11 (MONDAY, MAY, 11TH, 2026)

Text:-
John 4:18

Theme:-
MERCY CAN FIX IT

Memory Verse:-
"Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did is not this the Christ?" (John 4:29)

MESSAGE:-
There are certain situations in someone's life that can appear hopeless and which only need the mercy of God to be fixed. That was the situation of the woman in our today's text. She had married five husbands previously and divorced all of them and yet lived with a man. Even the man she was living with could not be legally regarded as a husband. It was a hopeless situation. Obviously a woman with such record is nothing to pride about

However, she opened up to Jesus Christ regarding her predicament. And Christ fixed it. And she went into town narrating her beautiful experience. Meanwhile, her mission at the well was to draw water. She never envisaged she would encounter Christ. But mercy located her and she received salvation and forgot her pot at the well as she ran into town to evangelize Christ. That was the end of hopelessness in her life.

What is that situation in your life that has become a source of obvious worry like that of the Samaritan woman? Maybe you do not have a husband or wife or children or money or employment and people are making mockery of you and ridiculing you. Jesus can fix it. You just need an encounter with Christ. To encounter Christ is to come face to face with mercy. However, you must demonstrate evidence that you have this burning desire inside of you to receive mercy. Humble yourself before God. Acknowledge your unworthiness like the Samaritan woman. Christ is that living water. Accept Him into your life. Make Him your Lord and personal Saviour. Then mercy shall be shown to you.

Worship/praise God and then take the following praye points:

1. O God, by your mercy, remedy every hopeless situation in my life, in Jesus name.

2. Any mistakes I have made in the time past, be forgiven by God's mercy, in Jesus name.

3. O God, by your mercy, make me humble, worthy and acceptable in your sight, in Jesus name.

4. Lord, decorate our G. O, Mommy in the Lord and their entire family with the garment of mercy, in Jesus name.

DAY 10 (SUNDAY, MAY, 10TH, 2026)

Text:-
Mark 10:47

Theme:-
MERCY IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM

Memory Verse:-
"But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)."
Ephesians 2:4-5

MESSAGE:-
The Bible describes God as being "rich" in mercy. He is not operating on a "budget of mercy. "He does not struggle to show mercy or worried that His supply would get exhausted. In fact, He has an infinite supply of it. Wealthy people don't worry about small expenses. Same way, God doesn't worry about the "cost" of forgiving you or helping you.

The most beautiful part of this verse is when He showed this mercy: "even when we were dead. "Ordinarily, in death we are unrecoverable, but Mercy quickened us together with Christ. Mercy didn't wait for you to get your act together. It reached into the graveyard of your mistakes and pulled you out. If He showed you mercy when you were at your worst, how much more will He sustain you now?

One thing that make many people to still find themselves in the worst case scenarios is because of their inability to take advantage of God's mercies, which remain available to us. There is no situation that can resist God's mercy. Once the Lord shows up with mercy, deliverance, healing, breakthrough, success, favour, etc. follow. So, today, think of a situation your life that feels "dead" or stagnant. Declare over it: "God is rich in mercy, and His life is flowing into this situation right now."

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Father. I rest in your riches. I thank you that your mercy is greater than my poverty and your life is stronger than my struggles, in Jesus name.

2. O Lord, show me mercy in the midst of every storm, in Jesus name.

3. Even where I am not qualified, Lord, qualify me by your mercy, in Jesus name.

4. Lord, let your mercy characterize every move of our G. O, Mommy in the Lord, their children and grandchildren, in Jesus name.

DAY (FRIDAY, MAY, 8TH. 2026)

Text:-
Psalm 51:3

Theme:-
HUMILITY ACTIVATES MERCY

Memory Verse:-
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
2 Chronicles 7:14

MESSAGE:-
Sin is the one and only thing that can separate us from God. Because of Adam's sin, he was cut off from the glory of God and thrown out of the Garden where lived. The ground became cursed and he began to groan under the weight of suffering. Sin makes God to tum away His ears such that when we pray, He will not hear. Sin can make God to shut the heaven over us such that there be no rain, cause the locusts to devour the land and make God to send pestilence among His people.

Nevertheless, sin has a remedy and that remedy is God's Mercy.
Only the mercy of God can provoke forgiveness of sin. Our memory verse points it out very clearly that if the people of God can HUMBLE themselves, and then acknowledge their sin and pray and seek the face of God, and take a firm decision to turn away from their sin. He will hear their prayer, forgive their sin and heal their land.

So, what you need today to avert any judement upon your life is to first humble yourself. Humility enables you to acknowledge your sin Whether the heaven over your finances, business, work, career, etc, has been shut because of sin and you are groaning under the weight of suffering, hardship, leanness, scarcity, limitation, embargo, etc, all you need now is to humble
yourself, acknowledge your unworthiness and begin to repent and ask God for forgiveness and He will hear from heaven and forgive your sin and then heal your life.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. O God, I humble myself before you asking for forgiveness, in Jesus name.

2. Lord, I acknowledge my sin and repent of them, in Jesus name.

3. Anything the devil has stolen from me because of sin, be restored, in Jesus name.

4. O Lord, look upon our Daddy and Mommy in the Lord continually with eyes of mercy, and cancel every accusations of the devil against them, in Jesus name.

DAY 7 (THURSDAY, MAY, 7TH, 2026)

Text:-
Psalm 51:3

Theme:-
THE MERCY THAT FOLLOWS

Memory Verse:-
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."
Psalms 23:6

MESSAGE:-
The Psalmist - King David was a man of great spiritual understanding. His prayer here was that God's goodness and mercy should "follow' him. And of course, God's goodness and mercy followed him all the days of his life and he dwelt in the house of the Lord till he departed this world.

However, many professed believers of today have never considered or imagined God's goodness and mercy following them Instead, they are toiling on their own because they are used to "following" things - following a career path, following rules, or following people, etc. But David presents a staggering reality: Mercy is following you. The Hebrew word for "follow" here is radaph, which actually means "to pursue" or "to chase

Anybody that mercy follows is on "Scholarship." Mercy qualifies you even where you are not qualified. Mercy opens the door of divine favour and connections for you. Mercy will cause you to be admitted into that office that ordinarily you are not permitted to enter. So, you don't have to look over your shoulder in fear of your past catching up to you; instead, look over your shoulder and realize that God's Mercy is hunting you down.

Even when you try to run away from His grace, His mercy is faster. It is an aggressive, pursuing love that refuses to let you go. Whenever you walk through a door today, imagine Mercy walking through right behind you. Remind yourself: "I am being pursued by the goodness and mercy of God."

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Lord, I thank you that I am not alone. Thank you for the mercy that chases me, catches me, and keeps me every single day, in Jesus name.

2. Lord, let your goodness and mercy follow me, in Jesus name.

3. O Lord, let your mercy qualify me where I am not qualified, in Jesus name.

4. O Lord, let your mercy speak for our G. O, Mommy in the Lord and their entire family, in Jesus name.
