I think this made it all real for me today. In 2003 I touched down in LA with $500.00 to my name, one carry on of make up I had collected from my job at and another with as many clothes as I could fit. A few months off of working on the movie 8 Mile, I was given this awesome opportunity to to create a fresh start in life, by Mark Bridges the movies amazing costume designer. It was a scary 2000 mile journey one I knew I needed to take. Now 14 years later there is beautiful space that celebrates beauty,creativity, artistry & living dreams. It has my name on it, housing a product line that embodies my spirit and love, and philosophy for beauty. On La Brea... a street I once caught the bus down for my years.

It hasn't been easy, but I'm so proud of my journey and my story, my ups and my downs. Because they are mine... and they are special.

Everyone may not understand your vision, but you owe it to yourself to breathe life into it. If it works or fails, You know you gave it shot, instead of laying in bed at night wondering what if it would have been. It could be a magical and monumental moment... I'm looking forward to hosting everyone in LA
