Our manager, Ebube, is the exception. He’s our official guinea pig , we test all our new products on his . The stylists moisturize his hair whether he likes it or not, and I personally make a whole scene if his hair isn’t styled to “perfection.”
After all, he is the face of our salon. 😉

Teenager versus Present Day.

Not too bad, in my humble opinion. Back then, it was so easy to install braids without a second thought. Of course, I knew nothing about moisturizing my braids or protecting my real hair.

These braids are actually the first I’ve installed in so many years. Can we take a moment to talk about the weight, the heat, and that strange feeling of not looking like myself? Clients, friends, and family were genuinely shocked that I used hair extensions. It was time to try something different and honestly, I’m already over it 😒.

I’ve been moisturizing these braids every other day using *Kimia Daily Moisturizing Leave-in Conditioner* (of course available in our salon) and plain water.
While the braids look lovely, my main concern is still the health of my REAL HAIR. No matter what hairstyle you choose, make sure your is getting the care it deserves.

Now, tell me, am I being paranoid, or is there a certain age where we simply fall out of love with cumbersome and complicated hairstyles?
