As we step into this new month of April, my heart is filled with both hope and deep reflection. It is a new beginning, yet also a sacred moment as we journey through this Holy Week a time to pause, pray, and draw closer to God.

Today, Wednesday, 1st April traditionally known as Spy Wednesday reminds us of the moment Judas chose betrayal over loyalty. It calls us to examine our own hearts, our choices, and our commitment, choosing faithfulness, love, and truth in all we do.

Even as we welcome this new month, we cannot ignore the pain and sorrow in our land. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Jos, Plateau State, following the recent tragic attack that claimed many innocent lives. To every grieving family and hurting community, please know you are not alone we stand with you in prayer, solidarity, and hope for healing.

May God comfort the bereaved, grant healing to the injured, and restore peace to every troubled part of our nation. May He purify our hearts this Holy Week, strengthen our faith, and guide us in the path of righteousness.🙏

As we move forward, let us choose kindness over hatred, love over division, and faith over fear. May this month bring healing where there is pain, light where there is darkness, and renewed strength for us all.
