MYTH:My baby needs water because the weather is hot.

FACT: Breast milk already contains enough water to keep your baby hydrated even on hot days. Babies under 6 months who are exclusively breastfed do not need extra water hope you understood this part.

Myth:You should give herbal mixture or glucose water to "clean" a newborn's stomach.

Fact: Newborns do not need herbal mixtures or glucose water. These can expose babies to infections and interfere with exclusive breastfeeding did you do this based on what your mother told you.

Please note:This should be the knowledge you take home and hold dearly:Breast milk is about 87% water, so exclusively breastfed babies stay hydrated even in hot climates.

I will keep raising this awareness for the right person to see it and change that ancient notion you have.
