Doing my makeup for my convocation photoshoot made me question so many decisions I've made in the past. I once said I wasn't going to be needing a makeup artist on my wedding day, but honestly, I don't think that decision still stands.
I got to the studio late due to some personal reasons, and because of that I literally did everything under pressure.
To think I even forgot my lashes' glue at home which was why I ended up not fixing lashes 😭. My friend and the photographer knows the struggle I went through trying to get my lashes glued on my eyes with the follow-come bond on my eyelashes, but no way. It couldn't just hold😭😭.
My photographer even had to beg me to smile coz my mood almost got ruined as a result of that. Or is it when my friend was saying "do fast and let's be going home because it's getting dark" while I was still laying foundation? I almost forgot how to do everything as a result of that. Since I came back from that photoshoot, I've been low-key cancelling some decisions I made concerning who does my makeup on my big Day.
The third picture here was one of the first pictures I took, the photographer was literally begging me to smile because I was almost crying 😭😂
Makeup artists that actually do their makeup by themselves on their wedding day, kedu chi unu n'efe?
How do you handle all the inconveniences?
I can withstand it perfectly if it's on a client oo, but not on my own face biko.
Small pressure like this, I go just carry lipstick rub for eyes 👀😂😂
