*Best Ways to Fight and Prevent Kyphosis.*

Kyphosis is an exaggerated, forward rounding of the back. It can occur at any age but is most common in older women.

Age-related kyphosis is often due to weakness in the spinal bones that causes them to compress or crack. Other types of kyphosis can appear in infants or teens due to malformation of the spine or wedging of the spinal bones over time.

Mild kyphosis causes few problems. Severe kyphosis can cause pain and be disfiguring. Treatment for kyphosis depends on your age, and the cause and effects of the curvature.

Symptoms:
Mild kyphosis may produce no noticeable signs or symptoms. But some people experience back pain and stiffness in addition to an abnormally curved spine.

Causes🚩
The individual bones (vertebrae) that make up a healthy spine look like cylinders stacked in a column. Kyphosis occurs when the vertebrae in the upper back become more wedge shaped.

Abnormal vertebrae can be caused by:

▪️Fractures: Broken or crushed vertebrae (compression fractures) can result in curvature of the spine. Mild compression fractures often don't produce noticeable signs or symptoms.

▪️Osteoporosis: This bone-thinning disorder can cause spinal curvature, especially if weakened vertebrae result in compression fractures. Osteoporosis is most common in older women and people who have taken corticosteroids for long periods of time.

▪️Disk degeneration: Soft, circular disks act as cushions between spinal vertebrae. With age, these disks dry out and shrink, which often worsens kyphosis.

▪️Scheuermann's disease: Also called Scheuermann's kyphosis, this disease typically begins during the growth spurt that occurs before puberty. Boys are affected more often than girls.

▪️Birth defects: Spinal bones that don't develop properly before birth can cause kyphosis
▪️Syndromes: Kyphosis in children can also be associated with certain syndromes, such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and Marfan syndrome.

▪️Cancer and cancer treatments: Cancer in the spine can weaken vertebrae and make them more prone to compression fractures, as can chemotherapy and radiation cancer treatments.
▪️Oxidative Stress is also a major cause of Kyphosis. Some of the leading causes of Kyphosis are associated or related to oxidative stress.

Complications:
In addition to causing back pain, kyphosis may cause:

📍Breathing problems: Severe kyphosis can put pressure on the lungs.

📍Limited physical functions: Kyphosis is associated with weakened back muscles and difficulty doing tasks such as walking and getting out of chairs. The spinal curvature can also make it difficult to gaze upward or drive and can cause pain when you lie down.

📍Digestive problems: Severe kyphosis can compress the digestive tract, causing problems such as acid reflux and difficulty with swallowing.

📍Body image problems: People with kyphosis, especially adolescents, may develop a poor body image from having a rounded back or from wearing a brace to correct the condition. For older people, poor body image can lead to social isolation.

Treatment and Preventions:

♀️ Raise your Glutathione level with Cellgevity. Glutathione has been scientifically proven to be the antidote to Oxidative Stress which is one of the major causes of Kyphosis.
Cellgevity will raise your glutathione level 300% better than alternatives.

♀️ Postural kyphosis can be prevented by being aware of your posture and by taking care of your back. You should encourage your child to avoid slouching.
♀️ Sit correctly – sit upright, ensuring that the small of the back is supported
♀️ Avoid carrying heavy school bags that can pull on the back muscles and ligaments; the best school bags are well-designed backpacks
♀️ Take regular exercise (see below) to help strengthen the back and keep it flexible; activities such as swimming, running, walking, yoga are ideal for helping to prevent back problems

*Abdominal Obesity: Health Risk Of Belly Fat - Pot Belly*

*Belly fat* is more than a nuisance that makes your clothes feel tight.

*_Got a big belly?_* You may be at risk for heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, stroke, dementia, and certain cancers, including breast cancer and colon cancer.

One type of belly fat — referred to as visceral fat — is a major risk factor for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, strokes, high blood pressure.
and other conditions. Recent studies also suggest a link between belly fat and cancer

For this reason, losing this fat can have significant benefits for your health and well-being.

You can measure your abdominal fat by measuring the circumference around your waist with a tape measure. For your health's sake, you want your waist size to be less than 40 inches (102 cm) in men and 35 inches (88 cm) in women and above is known as abdominal obesity.

*All Fat Is Not Equal*

The fat that lies just below your skin in most of your body -- the kind you can grab with your hands -- is called *subcutaneous* fat. In your belly, it’s called *visceral* fat because it builds up in the spaces between and around your viscera -- internal organs like your stomach and intestines.

This visceral fat in your stomach makes toxins that affect the way your body works, says Samuel Dagogo-Jack, MD, president of the American Diabetes Association. Among them are chemicals called *cytokines* that boost your chances of heart disease and make your body less sensitive to insulin, which can bring on diabetes.

Cytokines also cause inflammation, which can lead to certain cancers, says Eric Jacobs, PhD, a researcher at the American Cancer Society. In recent years, he says, scientists have uncovered links between belly fat and cancers of the colon, esophagus, and pancreas.

*Overweight* puts pressure on all the organs especially the heart and the joints, usually leading to high blood pressure and high cholesterol which damages the arteries, blood vessels and other tissues like nerves. Once you have it, type 2 diabetes is likely to follow within a decade - 10 years.

Once the bones starts to carry a lot more weight than expected the cartilage within the joints will eventually wear off, making the bone to rub against each other or the bones swell up causing excruciating pains and sometimes pierces the nerves and causes back and leg pain like sciatica arthritis.

*_Dropping belly fat can be a challenge. If you feel your efforts aren’t giving you the results you want, there is a shortcut;_*

*Switch Metabolic Enhancer* is a weight loss supplement that takes a different approach to weight loss. The supplement activates your AMPK enzyme, which links to the nervous system’s core, a section of the brain responsible for regulating body weight, appetite, and hunger control, among other functions.

Meta-Switch promotes healthy weight management by activating the AMPK pathway to support the metabolizing of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats and providing supporting ingredients through its proprietary blend of Alpha Lipoic Acid, Leucine, Citrulline, RiboCeine (glutathione) and other synergistic ingredients such as Vitamin D2, Thiamine, and Potassium.

Meta switch activates the body's natural way of burning excess fats just like fasting and exercise.

With Meta-Switch you can burn calories as much as you take in without extra physical activities like exercise just like people that eat more and are still slim - in good shape.

*Know If You’re Overweight; It Could Be The Only Health Problem To Be Treated To Treat Others*

The terms “overweight” and “obesity” refer to body weight that is greater than what is considered normal or healthy for a certain height.

The balance between calorie intake and energy expenditure determines a person's weight. If a person eats more calories than he or she burns (metabolizes), the person gains weight (the body will store the excess energy as fat). If a person eats fewer calories than he or she metabolizes, he or she will lose weight. Therefore, the most common causes of obesity are overeating and physical inactivity. Ultimately, body weight is the result of genetics, metabolism, medications, environment, behavior, and culture.

Body mass index (BMI) is a simple index of weight-for-height that is commonly used to classify overweight and obesity in adults. It is defined as a person's weight in kilograms divided by the square of his height in meters (kg/m2).

For adults, WHO defines overweight and obesity as follows:

An adult who has a BMI of 25-29.9 is overweight, and an adult who has a BMI over 30 is obese. A person with a BMI of 18.5-24.9 has a normal weight. A person is morbidly obese (extreme obesity) if his or her BMI is over 40.

Obesity is frequently subdivided into categories:

Class 1: BMI of 30 to < 35
Class 2: BMI of 35 to < 40
Class 3: BMI of 40 or higher.
Class 3 obesity is sometimes categorized as “severe” obesity.

Another easier method to tell if you’re at a healthy weight is from your waist size. A waist circumference greater than 35 inches in women and greater than 40 inches in men is said to be overweight.

“Waist circumference above these numbers indicates excessive belly fat, a dangerous type of fat surrounding vital organs, which increases one’s risk of diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and the metabolic syndrome.”

To measure your waist circumference, all you need is a measuring tape.

“Place it on the top of your hip bone, bringing it around your body and level with your belly button”.

Resist the temptation to suck in and don’t make the tape too tight . An inaccurate reading only hurts you.

Key facts

Worldwide obesity has nearly tripled since 1975.

In 2016, more than 1.9 billion adults, 18 years and older, were overweight. Of these over 650 million were obese.

39% of adults aged 18 years and over were overweight in 2016, and 13% were obese.

More than 1 in 3 adults were considered to be overweight.

About 1 in 13 adults were considered to have extreme obesity

39 million children under the age of 5 were overweight or obese in 2020.

Over 340 million children and adolescents aged 5-19 were overweight or obese in 2016.

In Africa, the number of overweight children under 5 has increased by nearly 24% percent since 2000.

Overweight and obesity are linked to more deaths worldwide than underweight. Obesity is preventable.

The major cause of overweight and obesity is poor diet and lack of physical activity - sedentary lifestyle.

Eating large amounts of processed or fast food – that's high in fat and sugar.

Drinking too much alcohol – alcohol contains a lot of calories, and people who drink heavily are often overweight.

Many sugary drinks – including soft drinks and fruit juice.

Large portions than you need – you may be encouraged to eat too much if your friends or relatives are also eating large portions drinking too.

Medications and Psychological factors - Diseases such as hypothyroidism, insulin resistance, polycystic o***y syndrome, and Cushing's syndrome are also contributors to obesity. Some medication side effects contribute to being overweight.

5 ways to know if you’re overweight

1.Waist measurement

“A waist circumference greater than 35 inches in women and greater than 40 inches in men.

2. Achy joints

Obesity is a risk factor for osteoarthritis, the most common type of arthritis. If you have achy knees or hips, or chronic back pain, you may be experiencing signs of a weight problem.

3. Snoring

“If your partner, best friend, or even you notice excessive snoring and you wake up restless, it may be a good reason to check your weight,”

4. Frequent heartburn

Changes in your body weight, even slight ones, can lead to more acid reflux.

5. If simple tasks, such as tying your shoes or cleaning a room, lead to fatigue, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing, you may have a weight problem.

People with weight problems experience chronic inflammation because of the excess weight putting additional pressure on the organs, which leads to several chronic diseases such as;

Cardiovascular diseases (all heart disease including stroke and erectile dysfunction), which were the leading cause of death in 2012;

Diabetes mellitus;

Musculoskeletal disorders - Joint pains (especially osteoarthritis – a highly disabling degenerative disease of the joints);

Some cancers (including endometrial, breast, ovarian, prostate, liver, gallbladder, kidney, and colon).

Gallbladder disease and gallstones, breathing problems and gout and risks of infection.

The risk for these noncommunicable diseases increases, with increases in BMI.

Controlling inflammation at its source by reducing your weight has been proven to be one of the effective ways to treat associated diseases.

Do you remember your doctor recommending exercise for you? I guess that doesn't really fit well into your schedules.

What if you have an alternative way to lose weight with no change of lifestyle and diet? Yes, very possible. Remember weight management is all about the amount of calories you take in and that you burn.

What if you can burn calories as much as you take in without extra physical activities like exercise just like people that eat more and are still slim?

The secret is in switching your metabolism from low to high with Switch Metabolic Enhancer.

Switch Metabolic Enhancer is a weight loss supplement, stimulant-free, that takes a different approach to weight loss. The supplement activates your AMPK enzyme, which links to the nervous system’s core, a section of the brain responsible for regulating body weight, appetite, and hunger control, among other functions.

Switch’s core ingredient, Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), is a powerful antioxidant that helps promote a healthy metabolism. Leucine, Citrulline, RiboCeine and other synergistic ingredients make it more unique.

Alpha Lipoic Acid activates AMPK enzyme, the "master switch" that controls Metabolic rate (rate at which the body burns food for energy).

The biggest impact AMPK has on your body is fat loss. So triggering AMPK enables you to burn fat and lose weight more effectively, which in turn helps lower your risk of getting serious diseases and hence improve your overall health with RiboCeine and other powerful synthetic ingredients.

RiboCeine improves glutathione levels hereby controlling inflammation, strengthens immune system and empower tissue regenerations (healing).

Engaging the body's metabolic “master switch” known as “AMPK”, controls your eating habits while efficiently burning body fat without exercise.

*Spondylolisthesis: The Pain You Feel On Your Back*

*Spondylolisthesis* is a spinal disorder in which a bone (vertebra) slips forward onto the bone below it.

*_It is very common as there are more than 1.5 million cases per year (Nigeria)_*

It is often due to a birth defect in that area of the spine or sudden injury (acute trauma) in children. In adults, the most common cause is abnormal wear on the cartilage and bones, such as arthritis. The condition mostly affects people over 50 years old.

*_Generally, spondylolisthesis causes pain_* in your legs when you walk or stand for long period of time... Spondylolisthesis can certainly be an annoyance—sometimes a major one—

*Causes*

*_Spondylolisthesis_* vary based on age, heredity, and lifestyle. Children may suffer from this condition as the result of a birth defect or injury. However, people of all ages are susceptible if the condition runs in the family.

*_The most common symptoms_* in the legs include a feeling of vague weakness associated with prolonged standing or walking. Leg symptoms may be accompanied by numbness, tingling, and/or pain that is often affected by posture.

Rapid growth during adolescence may also be a contributing factor.

Playing sports may also cause your strain to overstretch and put stress on your lower back. The following sports are especially likely to cause this condition:

football

gymnastics

track and field

weightlifting

*_Spondylolysis_* is often a precursor to spondylolisthesis. Spondylolysis occurs when there is a fracture in a vertebra, but it hasn’t yet fallen onto a lower bone in your spine.

*_Spondylolisthesis_* risk factors also include sports that put stress on the bones in the lower back, such as gymnastics and football.

*Symptoms of Spondylolisthesis include:*

Lower back pain

Muscle tightness and stiffness

Pain in the buttocks

Pain radiating down the legs (due to pressure on nerve roots)

*Potential complications*

This condition can cause chronic pain and permanent damage if left untreated. You may eventually experience weakness and leg paralysis if nerves have been damaged.

Infection of the spine may also occur in rare cases.

Kyphosis, also called roundback, is a possible complication in which the upper portion of the spine falls off of the lower half, causing increased forward spinal angulation.

Oxidative stress is the major cause of inflammation that causes pain due to the bone(vertebra) disorder and glutathione has been proven to be perfect antidote for oxidative stress thereby combating the inflammation and allowing the body to recover from the pain and discomfort.

*Riboceine technology in CELLGEVITY has been scientifically proven to be 300% more effective in raising glutathione level within the cells than the next best alternative.*

Fight Fibromyalgia Fatigue With These Supplements 30/05/2022

*FIBROMYALGIA* IS PRIMARILY thought of as a chronic pain illness, however, it is usually accompanied by many other symptoms as well. Although much of the pain and tenderness experienced with fibromyalgia is felt in the muscles and soft tissues, it is actually a central nervous system disorder resulting in abnormal pain processing.

Fibromyalgia pain is widespread, chronic, and can range in intensity from mild to profound. It affects different parts of the body at different times and may manifest itself as muscular aching, throbbing, burning, or shooting pain. It can also produce an all-over body ache, described by patients as feeling like they have the flu all the time.

Fatigue a key symptom of fibromyalgia, is nothing like the kind of tiredness most people feel after a long day. It is a pervasive, all-encompassing exhaustion that can interfere with even the most basic daily activities. Some fibromyalgia patients say it can be even more debilitating than the pain.

Almost every cell of the body contains mitochondria. It is the job of the mitochondria to supply energy to the cells in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Researchers have found that people with fibromyalgia have low levels of ATP and a reduced capacity to produce ATP in the muscles.

What Is Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP)?
ATP stands for adenosine triphosphate. It is something that the body produces to promote muscle health and to carry oxygen and other nutrients in the body.

ATP stores the energy in your body. Biologists often call it "the energy currency of life." It's the main source of energy in all living cells. It's what the energy in your food is turned into so it can fuel all of your body's processes.

ATP is produced by the mitochondria in your cells. Your cells need it to function, your muscles need it to contract, everything in your body needs it in order to perform like it's supposed to.

ATP & fibromyalgia have a very definite connection. Recent studies have narrowed down the role of ATP in fibromyalgia flare-ups and symptoms that make it easier to approach treating this part of the problem.

ATP isn't something you can replace in the
body; you have to enable the body to make
more of it - which can be done with the right combination of supplements and dietary habits.

*Some symthomps associated with Fibromyalgia*
📍Pain — widespread and long-term
Traditionally, a fibromyalgia diagnosis results from a patient experiencing pain in all four quadrants of the body — right and left sides, above and below the waist (although not necessarily all at the same time), and that the pain has lasted for at least three months.

📍Fatigue
Fatigue can be a difficult symptom to describe to others because everyone knows what it feels like to be tired. However, the fatigue of fibromyalgia is so much more than just being tired. It is a pervasive, all-encompassing exhaustion that can interfere with even the most basic and simple daily activities.

📍Sleep problems
Research studies have shown that fibromyalgia patients spend little or no time in deep, stage-four sleep. Their deep sleep is repeatedly interrupted by bursts of awake-like brain activity. Since this is the stage of sleep during which the body replenishes itself, fibromyalgia patients are not able to get restful, restorative sleep.

📍Cognitive difficulties
Fibromyalgia patients often report a number of cognitive functioning problems including memory loss, difficulty concentrating, slurred speech, transposing letters and numbers, inability to think of the word you’re looking for, and thinking one thing but saying or writing something different. Patients sometimes refer to this as “fibro-fog,” saying it feels like their brain is in a fog.

📍Digestive disturbances
Most people with fibromyalgia report at least some degree of digestive disturbance. Typical problems include abdominal pain, bloating, excess gas, constipation, and/or diarrhea. Irritable bowel syndrome is a condition that frequently overlaps with fibromyalgia.

📍Headaches and/or migraines
Chronic headaches and/or migraines frequently coexist with fibromyalgia. More than half of fibromyalgia patients report having some type of head pain. The most common types of head pain experienced are tension-type headaches and migraines.

📍Hypersensitivity
In addition to having an increased sensitivity to pain, many fibromyalgia patients report a heightened sensitivity to a variety of sensory stimuli, such as touch, smell, sound, light, heat, and cold. Findings published in the journal “Arthritis & Rheumatology” suggest that brain abnormalities in response to non-painful sensory stimulation may cause the increased unpleasantness that fibromyalgia patients experience in response to daily visual, auditory, and tactile stimulation.

📍Depression and/or anxiety
According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, about 20 percent of people with fibromyalgia also suffer from anxiety disorder or depression. Since both fibromyalgia and depression/anxiety are nervous system disorders and involve the dysregulation of some common neurotransmitters, it's not surprising that there may be some overlap.

📍Other symptoms
Many fibromyalgia patients also report a variety of other symptoms and overlapping conditions, which may include allergies, impaired balance, dizziness, dry eyes and mouth, vision problems, environmental sensitivities, restless legs syndrome, skin sensitivities and rashes, itching, and sensitivity to foods and medications.

The following are supplements often recommended by fibromyalgia specialists for increasing energy and reducing fatigue.
CoQ10, N-acetyl-L-carnitine, D-Ribose,Vitamin B12, Panax Ginseng, Rhodiola Rosea, Green Tea Extract, Quercetin etc All these are what has been put together in Max ATP.

Equipping your cells with the right nutrients to produce ATP is critical for better energy, recovery, free from fatigue and pains.
Ribose is the main component in ATP production and it also plays a role in DNA and RNA production, so it is important to note that all this nutrients have being put together to make Max ATP one of its kind.

Max ATP is the only supplement on the market that contains ribose with vitamin B12, and all these other major supplements which can help with recovery.

Some of the supplements in Max ATP and their benefits;
▪️Coenzyme Q10
CoQ10- a powerful endogenous (made naturally in the body)
antioxidant that resides in the mitochondria and is a vital component of the energy producing process of ATP the molecule upon which all cellular functions in the body depend. It helps to eliminate harmful free radicals produced during the ATP process. A CoQ10 deficiency, such as is seen in fibromyalgia patients, can lead to mitochondrial dysfunction, which in turn can have a serious negative impact on multiple organs and body systems.

▪️N-acetyl -L-carnitine- increases the rate at which the liver oxidizes
fat therefore increasing the amount of energy available. Carnitine
shuttles long chain fatty acids from the liver into the mitochondria to
be metabolized. According to a 2007 study, L-Carnitine supplementation improved both physical energy levels and cognitive function in centenarians (people 100 years of age and older).

▪️RiboCeine™ - an exclusive product comprised of ribose and
cysteine, RiboCeine effectively passes through the digestive tract
and delivers the fragile cysteine molecule to the cell, enabling efficient, natural production of glutathione. The ribose compound in RiboCeine is also used by the cell as an essential component to
ATP production, your body’s source of energy. This allows your body to essentially manufacture glutathione “on demand” so it is ready to defend itself from free radical damage when it needs it
most.

▪️Panax Ginseng- Panax Ginseng is ginseng from Asia and is a known adaptogen to support an increased ow of steady energy
throughout the day.

▪️Green Tea Extract- is known to have high antioxidant activity and, together with RiboCeine, promotes a critical step in the production of glutathione. It also provides the natural source of caffeine which acts as a natural metabolic enhancer and supports mental alertness.

▪️Rhodiola Rosea- an adaptogen shown to reduce symptoms of fatigue and improve mental performance.

▪️Quercetin- a avonoid antioxidant known to support energy levels.

Unique Attributes
MaxATP supports the body’s production of ATP in three (3) unique
