Diagnosis
Diabetes could be diagnosed by conducting a lab test or through urinalysis.

But d good news is u can stop diabetes from knocking u off Ur feet.

Procedure;
* Wash Ur feet thoroughly
* Dry Ur feet thoroughly(between the toes)
* Apply moisturizer to Ur feet (not between Ur feet)
*Wear moisture resistant socks.
* Wear shoes dat fit well.

Precautionary measures, include:
* Check Ur feet for sores, cuts,blisters,corns and redness.
* Do not soak Ur feet.
*Do not smoke.

Preventive measures
*Go for routine check up

Patient diagnosed with of stroke is admitted to d emergency ward/unit in d health care facility(hospital).

->Causes
The cause of stroke includes:
*Vasoconstriction( due to closing of d sweat pores by d sweat gland).

->Control/Prevention measures
* Adequate bathing technique- dis is regarded as d generally accepted technique is taking Ur bath from toe to head(downward to upward).

-> Organs that take part in Homeostasis include the heart,kidney,lungs,and d skin.

-> Homeostasic components dat help in systematic control includes d variables,sensors(neuro transmitters/sensora),Effectors and feed back mechanisms.

-> Homeostasis is important in systematic functions such as Excretion, digestion and metabolism.

* Nervous system
*Renal system
* -Respiratory system

1) Lassa Fever is an acute viral haemorrhagic illness of 2-21days duration that occurs in West Africa.

2) Lassa virus is carried by multi manmilary rodents known as mastomys Natalensis.

3) The Lassa virus is transmitted to humans via contact with food or household items contaminated rodents urine or faeces.

4) Human-to-human infections and laboratory transmission can also occur, particularly in hospitals lacking adequate infection prevention and control measures.

5) the incubation period of Lassa Fever ranges from 6-21days.

6) the onset of d disease,when it is symptomatic is usually gradual starting with fever, general body weakness and malaise.After a few days headache, sore throat, muscle pain, chest pain, nausea,vomitting,diarrhea,cough and abdominal pain may follow. In severe cases facial swelling ,fluid in d lung cavity,bleeding from the mouth,nose va**na or Gastrointestinal tract and low blood pressure may develop.

7) There is no epidemiological proof supporting airborne spread between humans ( myth).

8) Lassa Fever occurs in all age groups and both sexes.

9) The antiviral drug ribavirin seems to be an effective treatment for Lassa Fever if administered early in d course of clinical illness.

10) Prevention of Lassa Fever relies on promotion of good "community hygiene" also to discourage rodents from entering homes.Effective measures include storing grain and other foodstuffs in rodent-proof containers,disposing of waste products far away from our homes,maintaining high level of sanitation culture and keeping cats as a biological hindrance.

Happy Sunday hivies, I have something special to introduce😉, just wen I thought I needed something a bit extra I came up with dis spicy hot chilli yam sauce😋.
Steps to make dis savoury special
* Chop yam into desired shape
* Beat 3 eggs and mix with onion, chilli add salt to taste
* With Ur vegetable oil fry Ur chopped yam and egg omlet
together far 5mins.

Beautiful morning hivies😇, on ma to do list I'll be educating us on two Nursing procedures. First is Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, this could be defined as an emergency procedure to restore Cardiopulmonary functions. it's indications include; -Respiratory distress,-Shock(refers to d inability of d Vital Organs to Circulate blood), - Near drawings, -Accident cases.
The 2nd is Vital signs;dis is regarded as fundamental and key to Human Resuscitation.It follows d pattern T P R and b.p "meaning temp, pulse,respiration and blood pressure.
