*25th June...my birthday*
For I know that my Redeemer and Vindicator lives...(Job 19:*25*).. Because He lives, that's why I am living. Thank you Lord God.

Lord God, on this day I return thanks for the many unmerited favours you've bestowed on me. Bless my parents, siblings and friends. Bless the remaining days of my life. Thank you for another year. I am grateful 🙏

Hunting was paramount and a major occupation in this particular village. They often went in groups. There is this man among the hunters who was one-eyed.

On that faithful day, they went for haunting. The men took strategic positions suspected to be the escape route of this game. It was an antelope.

The scavenge commenced, and the antelope emerged with a speed of light. Funnily enough, the closest escape route for the animal was where the one-eyed man was positioned.

Due to his visual impairment, for he didn't see the antelope early enough, the animal escaped and went home for thanksgiving, narrating how miraculously he escaped from 'k!dnappers'.

The other hunters in his group butchered him with derogatory and annoying words with particular reference to his sight. He couldn't bear the taunts, thus he left home devastated.
When he got home, he asked the mum the history of his visual impairment, and the mum said
"There was this day while you were a child, you were playing with a knife 🔪 and would not let anyone take it from you. I took it from you severally, but you cried so loud and refused consolation. At that point, the knife 🔪 was left with you. Before long, while playing with it, you stumbled and fell and it struck your eye.

We rushed you to the hospital 🏥 but the iris and pupil of your eye were already damaged 💔. That was what happened my son" the mother said.

Angrily, the man said "you knew I was a child and you refused taking the knife from me. You also knew I wouldn't have cried forever. Now I am almost blind, and a laughing stuck to my peers"

He took his hunting gun, and shot his mother.
