When I learnt the huge importance of first impressions, I started maximizing more opportunities.
There's so much value in what the quality of your personal appearance, tone of communication and transformed mental articulation tells people about you.
And the part where you may not get another opportunity to correct wrong first impressions and 're-identify' yourself makes it a little scary.
Today, lets try not to rush through moments that we project ourselves wrongly.
Good morning, beautiful people.π

I grew up hating salad.
The mayonnaise and cabbage were a huge turn off for me and my mum would make it worse by adding peas to it.
Almost everyone in my house loved it, but the only thing I could try to make out when sometimes forced to eat salad was the sweet corn and I think, a little bit of lettuce.
But as I grew older, I wanted to stop being seen as 'LOCAL', so I started forcing myself to have salad and though with a squeezed face and grumpy appetite, I continued trying out salad. Over and over again.
Until a time came when I somehow began to love salad, at least the plain one. I'll still never do peas and if I have my way, I'll always add more carrot than normal.βΊ
But here's the thing,
Just like wanting to stop being seen as 'LOCAL' made me start eating what I hate, I realized that wanting to be part of a 'TREND' has made so many persons create wrong skincare routines.
Your skincare routine is meant to be PERSONALIZED, not TRENDY.
And the sad part is that, unlike how I managed to get myself to enjoy salad without experiencing anything negative, you can't force things on your skin without negative effects.
Somehow, someway, it'll tell that you're doing something wrong.
πYou don't create a routine for a result you want to achieve, rather you create a routine around your skin activity, then bring in the results you want to achieve.
That is;
βSkincare routine = What you want to achieve.
β
Skincare routine = Your skin tolerance level + Your skin sensitivity + What you want to achieve.
Still confused? Feel free to ask questions in the comment section or my DM. I'll be answering.

Should I tell you?
The result you want is hidden in the truth you are scared of.
No, not a quote. I'm speaking to anyone trying to get transformative beauty results without using quality products, supplements or aesthetic procedures. You should take at least one of the three seriously.
βYou don't get real beauty results by drinking water and eating vegetables.
How can I help you today?

Don't use products containing more than 4% niacinimide(Vitamin B3) if your skin easily reacts to actives.
Even though niacinimide(vitamin B3) is a mild and very good active for different skin concerns, it tends to cause inflammation at higher percentages that causes people with acne-prone skin to breakout consistently.
The only issue is, you will never know if your skin will react negatively with high percentages of it(5-10%), until you actually use the product on your skin.
A patch test might not really let you know either.
Every skin is different, for instance, I use 10% niacinimide percentage of our products very comfortably. No inflammation, irritation or acne breakouts.
[πWE develop with Niacinimide PC instead of niacinimide. It has a higher purity, so less irritating.]
So, if you don't want to end up making a buying decision over what you won't use, stick with lower percentages(maximum of 4%).

Conclusively, niacinimide around 3-4% is good for a very basic acne control.
Niacinimide around 5-10% is very good is skin brightening.

TRETINOIN: IS IT WORTH IT?
If there's anything for someone trying to achieve a 'glass skin', it's topicals or topical alternatives in their routine.
Topicals are more like the very concentrated aspects of products. Most times, they come packed like drugs.
I plan on keeping this post short, so I'll be going straight to the main reason for this post, tretinoin.
(This post is for people that already know about this, but just want to understand if it's worth buying.)
Is it worth it? Yes!
Tretinoin has been around for over 50 years and since then, hasn't stop being a top favourite.
Why?It works!
πIf you are dealing with acne,
πWant that big boost of anti-aging effect that has you looking younger when you age,
πNeed to minimize enlarged facial pores,
πAddress skin texture for smoother skin
πFade some dark spots.
It is recommended for you, but also note every skin is different and for some persons, adaplene or other product alternatives could be a better option for you.
Secondly, tretinoin is not recommended for you if you have a sensitive skin, eczema-prone skin or deal with rosacea.
Also, you might want to pass if you are pregnant. Just to be safe.
How to use?
Always, I repeat, always start with the least percentage. Tretinoin is STRONG!
You'll experience irritation, stinging, possible peeling, so only use as instructed.
Always use only at night and wear sunscreen in the morning.
πAs a tretinoin beginner, use the sandwich method, i.e; apply moisturizer, apply tretinoin over moisturizer, apply moisturizer again.
Very importantly, tretinion doesn't always work best when used as a monotherapy(used alone). Pair it with other products.
Use only after qualified personnel's prescription. Feel free to send me a direct message.

Let's talk about 'GLASS SKIN' a little, shall we?
Firstly, how to achieve a GLASS SKIN is totally different from how to achieve a brighter skin and I'm guessing this is where most confusion began.
Glass skin is completely dependent on skin texture and moisture retention. If you have not introduced fruit acids into your skincare, but you want a skin clear like glass, it won't happen.
[We've talked a bit about plant acids the last time. Feel free to go through my timeline.]
Why?
You can address skin texture for a smoother skin without exfoliation and here I mean, careful exfoliation.
Not just by using exfoliators, but by seeking out intelligent formulations that blends the exfoliating powers of plant acids, melanin inhibitors and even distributors.
I'll give a few very basic examples using 3 of our products from the 'Clear Like Glass Product Series' now to draw it home.
1. Glycolic acid, HPPA and Tranexamic acid.
2. Time-release salicylic acid, Ellagic acid, Yeast Extract and HPPA.
3. Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate, HPPA, Tyrostat.
4. 4% Lactic acid + 2% Glycolic Acid Toning Solution.
In all 4 of these, you'll notice that it starts with either an Alpha or Beta Hydroxy plant acid, followed with another tone maintaining acid, a strong anti-inflammatory active to balance underlying issues, a potent active for boosting the results and increased moisture.
This is a strategy that works.
And most importantly, use a retinol or any of it's alternatives alone or paired with enzyme glycospheres at least 2X weekly to enhance your results.
Retinols are very good in melanin distribution for even skin tone and tackling skin imperfections as they pe*****te your skin the deepest.
[Note, Retinol is Vitamin A.]
For this, we have two product options:
The 2% Granactive retinoid emulsion serum and
The 2% Granactive retinoid paired with papain enzyme glycospheres.
This is an amazing grade of Retionoid that is well developed to be used by sensitive skin types and is also enhanced with sunprotection benefits.
I'll stop here now, so this post doesn't get too long. A second post will be uploaded tonight, unfailing.
Note: Seek quality guidance through your process. Feel free to send me a direct question.

EXCLUSIVE - Acids in skincare.
I'll first start with correcting the fear about all acids being ACIDS. I think you get what I mean.
These are not the ones we grew up hearing or learning about in brutal episodes of movies where people got badly burnt or disfigured with.
With this being said, let's find a place to build and I'll start with using one popular acid as an example, πHYALURONIC ACID.
It's an acid right? But it's actually something found within your skin layers. I'll explain.
There's this skin suppleness that comes with hydration, true or false?
Let me draw it home better.
Take a look at the face of younger person and the face of an advancing adult to notice the difference in smoothness and hydration, that's one of the key benefits of this HYALURONIC ACID.
Now, as we grow older, this HYALURONIC ACID production reduces within our skin, so in a bid to assist your skin to remain plump, hydrated and smooth, science backed innovations are used to outsource this and infuse them into products.
Getting simpler, right?
Not to make this too long, I'll talk a little about the even more popular acids; lactic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, malic acid, azelaic acid, mendelic acid, succinic acid, e.t.c
Contrary to the idea you have about them, they are all derived from natureπ
Lactic acid from milk,
Glycolic acid from sugarcane,
Salicylic acid from willowbark extract,
Malic acid from apples,
Azelaic acid from wheat, rye, and barley,
Mendelic acid from bitter almonds,
Ellagic acid from grapes raspberries, strawberries, e.t.c
They have very different skin benefits and I'll go into all of them subsequently, but for now, I hope you've gotten cleared about the non-toxic effects of these to your skin.
05/08/2024
Do yourself one favour today and place a brick on that idea in your heart. Re-evaluate it, test it over again, determine if it's scaleable, then you can start working on releasing it.
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
Good morning, beautiful people.

Check your chin, notice facial hairs?
How about your body weight? Did you drastically loose or gain weight?
If you drastically lost or keep losing weight, are you currently finding it had to gain back weight since then?
Skipping your normal cycle or having irregular periods?
How about your joints? Do they always hurt?
Persistent acne/pimple breakout?

If you are dealing with a significant number of these symptoms I just listed, chances are,
You're dealing with feminine hormonal imbalances, which can be reversed by introducing supplements into your lifestyle.
Or you are dealing with the popular PCOS(Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome). I won't teach on this right now, but hold this as a close reminder to start paying attention to the signs your body has been long giving you.
A simple visit to run a test at a local clinic can save you from negative reproductive conditions in the long run.
'Healthy' doesn't always mean physically active. Your internal health can be getting slowly messed up and you'll still be feeling 100% okay.
