1. Keep Your Wig Properly Stored

When you're not wearing it, place your braided wig on a **wig stand or mannequin head** to help it maintain its shape and prevent tangling.

2. Clean the Scalp Area Regularly

Use a clean, damp cloth or mild wig-friendly cleanser to gently clean the lace and scalp area where sweat and makeup may build up.

3. Don't Overwash Your Wig

Braided wigs do not need frequent washing. Overwashing can cause unnecessary frizz and reduce the neat appearance of the braids.

4. Use Mild Shampoo When Washing

When it's time to wash, use a mild shampoo and gently clean the wig without aggressively rubbing or twisting the braids.

5. Allow It to Air Dry Completely
