Some of you are doing skincare religiously… and your face is still giving “low battery.”
Let’s fix that.
Dull skin usually means one thing:
Your skin is not renewing properly.
Here are the most common reasons your skin looks tired:
1. You’re not exfoliating — or you’re exfoliating like you’re fighting someone
Your skin needs to shed dead cells, but gently.
Use mild chemical exfoliants 1–2 times a week only.
2. You’re dehydrated
Your skin cannot glow if you’re running on 2 cups of water a day and vibes.
Hydrating serums + drinking actual water = glow.
3. You’re skipping sunscreen
The sun fades your glow faster than anything else.
No sunscreen = no radiance.
4. Barrier don spoil
If your barrier is damaged, your glow is automatically cancelled.
Go back to hydrating and soothing products.
5. Not moisturizing enough
Dry skin = matte.
Moisturized skin = shine but make it classy.
Glow is not about filters — it’s about consistent, correct skincare.
Oily skin doesn’t mean hydrated skin. When you skip moisturizer, your skin tries to compensate by producing more oil. The trick is using the right lightweight moisturizer that balances—not blocks—your skin. Healthy skin is hydrated skin.

If your skin is always dry, irritated, burning, or just acting like it hates you… your moisture barrier is probably screaming for help.
Most people think they have “bad skin.”
No! your barrier is just TIRED.
Here’s how to know your moisture barrier is damaged:
• Your skin stings randomly
• Products that used to work now irritate you
• You’re suddenly getting tiny bumps
• Your face feels tight no matter what you use
• Your glow has packed its bags and left
So… how do we fix it?
1. Simplify your routine
Cut out harsh scrubs, too many acids, and product overload.
2. Moisturize like it’s your 9–5
Your skin barrier survives on hydration, not vibes.
3. Stick to barrier-loving ingredients:
• Ceramides
• Hyaluronic acid
• Niacinamide (the gentle queen)
• Centella
• Panthenol
4. Sunscreen. Always.
The sun will finish the little barrier you have left if you ignore this one.
Remember:
Healthy skin is not about having 10 products — it’s about having a strong barrier.
Glow starts from here.
Day 5? We’re talking why your face is dull even when you’re doing skincare every day. Stay tuned.
Niacinamide is that quiet achiever in skincare.
It controls oil, reduces dark spots, calms inflammation, and strengthens the skin barrier.
Add it to your routine and watch your skin transform gently but powerfully.

Most people don’t have bad skin… they just use too many products their skin did NOT ask for.
If you’re confused about where to start, do this:
Use. One. Product. At. A. Time.
Here’s the rule:
Anytime you buy something new (serum, cleanser, toner, whatever),
use it alone for 10–14 days before adding another one.
Why? Because:
• If your skin reacts, you’ll know exactly who the culprit is
• You avoid ingredient conflicts
• You give your skin time to adjust
• You stop wasting money on products you don’t even need
Your skincare routine is not jollof rice — stop mixing everything together at once.
Start slow.
Add products one by one.
Your skin will thank you with quiet, steady glow.
Kids’ skin is delicate, so less is more.
A mild cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen during outdoor play are enough to keep their skin healthy and protected.
Good skincare habits built early last a lifetime.

If you don’t know your skin type, how exactly are you choosing products? Vibes? Faith? Vibes and Inshallah?
Let’s fix that today.
Here’s the easiest way to test your skin type — straight to the point:
Step 1:
Wash your face with a gentle cleanser.
Step 2:
Don’t apply anything. No cream. No oil. No serum. Just vibes.
Step 3:
Wait 30 minutes and check your face:
• Shiny everywhere? You’re oily skin gang.
• Shiny T-zone but dry cheeks? Combination skin baby.
• Tight, dull, or flaky? Dry skin — drink water and moisturize.
• No serious shine, no tightness? Normal skin (small flex).
• Burning, redness, irritation? Sensitive skin — products must be soft life only.
Knowing your skin type makes everything easier — your routine, your product choices, even your budget.
Tomorrow? We’re breaking down the biggest mistake each skin type makes. Stay locked in.
Men, your shaving routine might be stressing your skin.
A gentle cleanser before shaving + a soothing moisturizer after = less irritation, fewer ingrown hairs, and smoother, healthier skin.
Skincare isn’t girly—it’s grooming.

Tell me why Niacinamide is giving main-character energy in every product?
Because she’s THAT GIRL.
Here’s the tea:
We’ve got two versions —
• Niacinamide PC: soft, stable, unproblematic queen
• Vitamin B3 version: can irritate your skin if it’s in a bad mood
Why is everyone obsessed?
Because Niacinamide actually does the work:
• Reduces excess oil like a boss
• Fades dark spots slowly but surely
• Strengthens your skin barrier
• Gives that “my skin is expensive” vibe
Happy Monday
Exfoliate
Use sunscreen
Moisturize

Let’s be honest: a lot of men think skincare is not for them… until their skin starts begging for water.
If your skin feels dry, tight, or dull, here’s a routine that won’t overwhelm you:
Step 1: Cleanse
You can use a bar soap, body wash, or black soap paste — just avoid anything too harsh.
Step 2: Moisturize
This is where the magic happens. A good moisturizer keeps your skin soft, smooth, and alive.
Step 3: Sunscreen
I know it sounds like extra work, but trust me, this step separates “just there” skin from healthy skin.
Like they say, “na from clap dem dey take enter dance.”
Start with these basics — because that skincare dance? We must enter am, but one baby step at a time.
