The society today has seen women and girls as lesser people, and the Democratic Republic of Congo is not exempted.Violence against women has become the order of the day,and it has become more brutal in recent years.
During wars women become victims of r**e and assault ,sexual violence that includes gang r**es,kidnap for purposes of sexual slavery, female genitalia have been continuously mutilated with different objects over the years.
A lot of these cases have not been reported because of fear of Social Stigmatization, women who have been r**ed have not been taken serious in the society. The Congo women have suffered domestic abuse from their partners.
Very few Congolese women have access to decent jobs and also less access to education than men.
The “Fix-Her institute “ calls women all of the world in Asia,Africa,America and other continents of the world to take their rightful place in the society.
