To every beautiful and strong African queen,
It's time for us to celebrate the distinct beauty that comes from our roots and stand tall and strong in a society where beauty standards are frequently imposed. Allow your hair to convey your uniqueness, power, and cultural background.
The diverse range of cultures and history that shape who we are is reflected in our natural hair. It's more than just threads; it's a celebration of diversity, a statement of self-love, and a symbol of resiliency. Let's redefine beauty according to our own standards and reject conventional norms.
Every coil is a statement of your individuality, regardless of whether your kinks form a crown of splendor or your curls tumble like a waterfall. Our hair's adaptability serves as a blank canvas for personal expression. Try out different looks that express your individuality; there are countless options, from afros to braids to twists.
Be brave, unapologetic, and don't be scared to stand out. When you proudly display your natural hair, you encourage other people to follow suit. Allow the world to see the beauty found in the curls, kinks, and coils. You are leading the way in the self-acceptance revolution.
Recall that your natural hair serves as an eternal crown. Wear it with confidence and boldness, allowing it to serve as a symbol of your inner beauty, tenacity, and strength.
Please share this with a sister who could use it. Together, we can create a community that honours and recognizes the individual beauty of every African woman.

If there is one thing that I've noticed during this coronavirus quarantine, it's that a lot of ladies have relaxed their hair care routine. Yes, for obviously genuine reasons, staying safe is at the top, and not really knowing the what and how also make it to the list.
As someone who is currently natural and have also been nurturing my daughter's natural hair for years, I think that transformation is good, and the time is now.

At the same time I also know that sometimes when things seem to feel out of control, it's easy to make impulsive decisions inorder to be able to concentrate on fewer things. This has nothing to do with being natural. You may be stressed out or worried that it might be forever before you see your stylist again.

I have good news, taking care of your hair at home is possible and better still if we do it together.
