I have been so much in my feelings lately. My emotions are all over the place, everything is a trigger and I have been wondering on how to put a leach on my emotions.

Last Sunday I prayed one prayer. I told God to help my mind and help me channel my energy to something positive.

Today is Tuesday, I feel a bit better at least I want to wake up and take my day. This just made me realize that God is ever ready to help. He sees all the pain, worries, disappointments, discomforts and stress. He wants to be your go-to for help, he wants to be your source of strength and hope, he wants to be your peace. Blessed art thou who hath found peace in God.

Just so you don’t forget, I am still your best beauty and personal care plug. Hit me up and let’s get you booked for a wonderful hairstyling session.

TOPIC: REGROWING YOUR EDGES

Regrowing your edges involves maintaining a healthy hair care routine, which includes:

1. Avoiding tight hairstyles that pull on your edges, such as tight ponytails or tiny braids.
2. Moisturizing your edges regularly with oils or creams to prevent breakage.
3. Protecting your edges while sleeping by using a satin or silk scarf or pillowcase.
4. Limiting heat styling and chemical treatments that can damage your hair.
5. Massaging your scalp to stimulate blood flow, which can promote hair growth.
6. Eating a balanced diet rich in vitamins and nutrients that support hair health, such as vitamin E, biotin, and omega-3 fatty acids.
7. Consider using topical treatments or supplements specifically designed to promote hair growth, such as minoxidil.

RECOMMENDATION
Several products can aid in promoting hair growth, each with its own unique ingredients and benefits. Here are some commonly used products and their key ingredients:

1. Biotin supplements: Biotin, also known as vitamin B7, is a water-soluble vitamin that supports healthy hair, skin, and nails. Biotin supplements can help strengthen hair and promote growth. However, it's important to note that biotin deficiency is rare, and excessive intake may not necessarily lead to faster hair growth.

2. Hair growth shampoos and conditioners: Many shampoos and conditioners contain ingredients like biotin, keratin, vitamins (such as vitamin E and panthenol), and botanical extracts (such as saw palmetto and ginseng) that claim to promote hair growth and strengthen hair follicles.

3. Essential oils: Certain essential oils, such as rosemary oil, peppermint oil, and lavender oil, have been shown to have stimulating effects on hair growth. These oils can be diluted in a carrier oil (such as coconut oil or jojoba oil) and massaged into the scalp to improve circulation and promote hair growth.

4. Protein treatments: Protein treatments contain ingredients like keratin and amino acids, which help strengthen and repair damaged hair. By improving the health of the hair shaft, protein treatments can contribute to overall hair growth and thickness.

It's essential to keep in mind that individual responses to hair growth products can vary, and what works for one person may not work for another. Additionally, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet, proper hydration, regular exercise, and stress management, is crucial for supporting overall hair health and promoting optimal hair growth.
Remember that regrowing your edges takes time and patience, so consistency with your hair care routine is key. Consulting with a healthcare professional or dermatologist can help determine the best approach for addressing specific hair concerns and selecting suitable products.

Even though🥹

Happy Mother’s Day mum. I wish you were here but I’m holding up just fine.

I hope you are in a better place.
I remember September 2018 when my skin was struck with chicken pox.

You prayed like it was a spiritual attack yet gave me all the medical attention that I needed. You even got infected in the process of taking care of me. One of those sleepless nights, I had taken four tablets of piritone thinking it will stop the itching. Rather I got overdosed, I became high on it.

You woke up at 2am, called on Dad, and went out to get me coconut water to neutralize the effect of the drugs. I wonder what would have happened to me if you were not there.

I still can’t believe that you are no longer with us. I visit the house every other day and I keep hoping to see you come out to welcome me. Imaginations of you have taken a greater part of my mind. I wish I was there when you took your last breath maybe you would have found a reason to stay. I miss you so much mum🥹🥹🥹🥹

Happy Mother’s Day mummy. You live on in my heart.

TOPIC: DEALING WITH HAIR BREAKAGE

Meaning of Hair Breakage
Hair breakage refers to the splitting of individual hair strands, often resulting in shorter, frayed ends and a lack of overall hair length.

Causes of Hair Breakage
It can be caused by various factors, including:
1. Excessive heat styling
2. Over-processing
3. Harsh chemical treatments
4. Improper hair care practices
5. Environmental damage.

Preventive Measures/ Solutions to Hair Breakage
Dealing with hair breakage requires a combination of preventative measures and targeted treatments to restore the health and strength of your hair. Here are some tips on how to effectively deal with hair breakage:

1. Identify the Cause: Understanding the root cause of your hair breakage is essential for finding the most appropriate solutions. Assess your hair care routine, styling habits, and any recent changes in diet or lifestyle that may be contributing to the problem.

2. Trim Regularly: Schedule regular trims every 6-8 weeks to remove split ends and prevent them from traveling up the hair shaft, causing further breakage. This will also promote healthier hair growth over time.

3. Gentle Handling: Handle your hair with care to minimize breakage. Avoid vigorous brushing, harsh towel drying, and tight hairstyles that can put stress on the hair shaft. Instead, use a wide-tooth comb or a detangling brush to gently work through knots and tangles.

4. Moisturize: Keep your hair well-hydrated and moisturized to prevent dryness and breakage. Use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner formulated for your hair type, and consider incorporating a weekly deep conditioning treatment or hair mask to nourish and strengthen your strands.

5. Protective Styling: Opt for protective hairstyles like braids, twists, or buns to minimize manipulation and reduce exposure to external elements that can cause breakage. Be sure not to make these styles too tight, as this can also lead to breakage along the hairline.

6. Limit Heat Styling: Reduce the frequency of using heat styling tools such as flat irons, curling wands, and blow dryers. When you do use them, always apply a heat protectant spray or serum beforehand and use the lowest heat setting possible to minimize damage.

7. Nutritious Diet: Support healthy hair growth from the inside out by maintaining a balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals, and proteins. Incorporate foods like salmon, eggs, nuts, fruits, and leafy greens into your meals to provide essential nutrients for strong and resilient hair.

8. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your body and hair hydrated. Dehydration can lead to dry, brittle hair that is more prone to breakage, so aim to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.

9. Protective Accessories: Consider using silk or satin pillowcases and hair accessories to reduce friction and breakage while sleeping or styling your hair. These materials are gentler on the hair and help to minimize damage.

10. Patience and Consistency: Be patient and consistent with your hair care routine, as repairing and preventing hair breakage takes time. Stick to your regimen and give your hair the time it needs to gradually regain its strength and vitality.

By implementing these tips and addressing the underlying causes of hair breakage, you can effectively manage and reduce breakage while promoting healthier and stronger hair. I always tell the people around me that “healthy hair makes styling easy and the beauty is always worth the while.”
