5 years ago when I started my business, my salary was N5,000 a month, extra 2,000 Naira if I participate in after school lessons for the kids without missing a day (if I miss a day the 2k otilo). I had thought I’ll live a soft life when I become a Corper, but this was how much my PPA (place of primary assignment) paid me to teach French to their primary pupils, junior secondary students and some of the senior students too. So on an average I was taking home N24,800 from my PPA and Federal Government as a youth corp member and I asked myself several times “Joy how would you live the life of your dreams with this amount? How do I land a job that can pay me my worth?” I knew I was worth so much more. I had to think outside the box, I had to do something different. Who would have thought I could attempt a business, me?? 😂😂😂
