Sometimes, as an MUA, the most challenging thing you’d do in a day is tackle a clients eye sensitivity issue. 😩 Sometimes, how you handle it can make or break the entire look! 🫠
With my years of experience as an MUA, I’ve come to find out that sometimes, you just have to not panic and figure it out as you go having confidence that you can indeed do this just as easily as any other thing you’re good at! 👌🏽
For me, my trusted trick for stopping teary eyes is getting the client to sniff! Most times, the tearing is unintentional so the brain does not know you’re tearing yet, your eyes are just reacting to whatever is causing the irritation/discomfort. Intentionally sniffing more or less tricks the brain and wakes it up to the reality that you’re indeed tearing (crying) and it triggers a response to stop the tearing reflex🤌🏽
