Exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months is one of the best starts a child can have, but for many mothers, achieving this goal is difficult and sometimes impossible, without the support of fathers, families, health workers, employers, colleagues, communities, and government.

Every breastfeeding-friendly workplace, every encouraging word, every helping hand, and every policy that protects mothers brings us closer to a future where every child has the healthiest start in life.

Let us carry this message beyond this week and continue protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding, because every small beginning creates a big impact.
