So today I got to my kids School and I noticed the way a car was parked recklessly at the parking lot as opposed to the usually coordinated way we used to park. Cars were struggling to park because this lone car had consumed the space meant for at least two saloon cars to park. I called the security guard's attention and asked, why didn't you give directions to the owner of this car, and he smiled and said "madam I don drive car before? The woman wey get this car, I dey direct her, she just frown her face abuse me waka comot" all through our ride back Home I was pondering on this. If as adults we can behave like this, then what are we telling our kids? That is OK to look down on someone? Or it's cool to be disorderly ? This is the reason for societal decay, if at the home front where values are supposed to be learnt, is the place where wrong behaviour is picked up from, I begin to imagine what the next generation of children will become.
