PMU colour correction is completely different from working on untouched skin. Before choosing a new brow colour, I first assess what is already sitting in the skin: the healed undertone, saturation, depth, skin tone and whether the old pigment can realistically be corrected.

Because we’re not simply painting over an old colour… we’re working with pigment underneath the skin. 🤎

When brows have healed too cool, carefully selected warmer tones can be used to help neutralise the unwanted colour before we work towards a more balanced brow result.

And THIS is the part of permanent makeup that absolutely fascinates me. 😍

It’s not just choosing a pretty brown from a bottle.

It’s understanding WHY a colour healed the way it did, WHAT colour is needed to counteract it and knowing when correction is possible… or when removal would actually be the better option.

Every correction is different. Every skin is different. Every old pigment is different.
