Il a également demandé au Premier Ministre de promouvoir une administration de rupture avec la montée en puissance de la transformation digitale des services.

Inspector General of Police Seedy Muktar Touray, in an impromptu interview with GRTS this evening, expressed grave concern over the recent surge in armed robberies across The Gambia, including today's robbery at Access Bank in Brusubi where over 1 million dalasis was stolen.

This follows a string of similar violent incidents, including a Western Union robbery in Kunkujang and an armed attack in Wassu. IGP Touray emphasized the severity of these attacks, stating, "This is a very big concern to all Gambians, non-Gambian residents in the country, and internal security elements of the country." He also highlighted the common traits of the criminals involved, saying, "The assailants were all in masks. They wear caps. They wear dark glasses."

Despite these alarming incidents, IGP Touray assured the public of the Gambia Police Force's commitment to restoring security and urged public cooperation to help apprehend those responsible.
