​Those of us who live far from home get used to planning everything. We build perfect routines, airtight schedules, and clear goals.

We think we have the future under control. But sometimes, life shakes us up to remind us of what truly matters.

​I traveled to my native Venezuela looking for a few days of rest and disconnection. Instead, I had to experience firsthand the pain and impact of the earthquake that struck our people.

It is one thing to see a tragedy on the news from a distance; it is a completely different reality to feel the ground shake and see it with your own eyes.

​Today, that pain transforms into deep gratitude. It comforts me to know that I am exactly where I need to be: holding my loved ones close and lending a hand to those who need it most.

​Thanks to the immense solidarity of friends and colleagues in the Netherlands and Italy, we managed to be a direct bridge to bring critical supplies and aid to the affected families in La Guaira.

When the heart moves, distance disappears.

​This experience leaves me with an unforgettable lesson: true resilience isn't found in corporate plans, but in the strength of a community that rises together and in a human empathy that knows no borders.

​Infinite thanks to every single person who trusted us from afar, and to those who haven't stopped working on the ground. It’s our turn to rebuild, to support, and, above all, never to take anything for granted. 🙏🇻🇪🩹
