— Carrying Memory into the Future,
May My Prayer Ripple Across the Earth —

In 1945, in , a single bottle was transformed by the heat of the atomic bomb. Its altered form is not only a record of the past, but also a quiet question posed to those of us living today.

Prayer Vase was born by inheriting the shape of that bombed bottle, becoming a vessel that holds memory and prayer. As it receives flowers and welcomes new life and time, it carries the memories of the past into the future. Through art, its prayer holds the possibility of reaching people across borders and cultures.

Meanwhile, Butterfly Dance is an embodied expression of the natural principle that “small movements can change the future.” Beyond words, it opens a sense of resonance with nature and with others, inviting us into a deeper awareness of coexistence.

Just as butterflies are drawn to flowers, people encounter one another, influence one another, and are transformed. Small prayers and gestures, too, may spread like ripples, reaching somewhere, someone, and ultimately the future.

Through Prayer Vase and Butterfly Dance, this exhibition connects the memories of the past with the living body in the present moment. Within a space where history, art, bodily expression, and human relationships resonate together, we hope to offer an opportunity to rediscover peace — not merely as an ideal, but as something each person can feel, reflect upon, and share.
