From the many lessons that the artisanal process has thought me, the singularity that every product eventually has, is one of my favourites.
Getting all the beautiful butters, oils, essential oils, clays... and working, watching them come together and waiting for it to become something so unique, feels quite rewarding in itself.
Taking this to life, has become one of my favourite lessons🌌
After all, we come from one source, but eventually what makes us singular, our differences, is what makes each one of us unique and special. 💫
Embrancing it, becomes quite liberating.

Our tip of this weekend may look like just a colourful powder, but its power are way beyond.
Capable of stimulating blood flow, removing polution and impurities from skin, controling oil production, help to prevent small wrinkles.... Clays can be best friends to keep a glowing, clean skin.
And it is so easy to make your own mask! Just add a bit of water and you have it already. You can always add ingredients like aloe vera or essential oil for example, but by itself, clays already work well.
Each type has a different composition, therefore are recommended for different purposes. If you like to know more, there is a blogpost in the website with more details.

Today I am sharing an anti cellulite body scrub recipe, developed by Eloisa Toguchi, the expert behind
It is all natural and super easy🌿
So here it goes:
Anti cellulite body scrub

You will need: *5 spoons of coffee grounds (the one used for the morning coffee is perfect).
*1 tea spoon of coconut oil (or any other oil of your choice). It helps the scrub to move smoothly and softer to the skin.
(Reminding that exfoliation should be done gently, to avoid hurting the skin) *1 drop of cinnamon essential oil. Optional, if you like to have the anti cellulite effect. Cinnamon helps to boost the metabolism and has skin' regenerative properties.
Personally, I also like to use grapefruit essential oil. It has anti inflammatory enzymes that help to break down cellulite and prevent from more to develop. But is important to remember NOT to expose yourself at the sun after using it, and in both cases, to do an allergy test on the forearm before using it, since cinnamon and grapefruit essential oil can cause allergic reactions.
How to make it?
Mix the essential oil with the oil, than add the coffee grounds.
Apply it always from bottom to top, in circular movements, towards the groin (to help your lymph system work).
It is best to wait 10 minutes with the mixture on the body, so it can properly nurture the skin.
At last, just wash and rinse it off, don't forget to apply your moisturizer after. (can even be a bit of the oil that you chose).

Our brazilian pink clay mask is passing through as a reminder that social distance can be hard at first, but this time secluded can also be a great time to take care of yourself, reflect, meditate, reconect.
Facial mask, foot bath, start a new book, rearrange your house decoration, try new recipes, or just chill and marathon that serie you like.... Is great to have the time to do something new, or something you like but usually have no time for.
It is important to be informed, take needed actions and be on track on what is going on. But it is also healthy to look for all good we can take from this experience. Eventually, like everything else, it will pass.🙌 .
